Took my 2018 Honda HR-V in for a/c service. After charging me $164.95 for a "diagnostics", I was quoted a repair price of over $1200. I took my car to an independent Honda mechanic who told m After charging me $164.95 for a "diagnostics", I was quoted a repair price of over $1200. I took my car to an independent Honda mechanic who told me this diagnosis was bogus and could be addressed at 1/10th the cost! I contacted the service advisor Dominic R. and told him my findings. Despite his bogus repair recommendation, he refused to refund what was charged for the diagnosis. I will be contacting American Honda and the appropriate MA state consumer protection agency to report this dishonest predatory business. Honda North has lost a long-time customer. More
