They took my 2006 Audi A8 in trade and paid me the wholesale book price as listed. We now own two Volvos, and we will continue to own only Volvos as long as Kevin and his family own the dealership. I advocate to anybody I know who is considering a Volvo at all to call Kevin because he is on their side. So many people I know are wary of dealers (including me) but I gladly send my friends to Kevin because he is going to give you the straight scoop on the cars, how they stack up, no-pressure, and a very fair deal. That sort of knowledgeable, respectful, no-pressure approach is one big reason Smythe is one of the top dealers in the nation. Now on to service, headed by Sean Flanagan. Another Flanagan, another stand-up guy, and another first rate operation. Also, the team of service advisors are professional, patient, and upbeat, regardless who you get. There have been many occasions where they have advised me how I can more simply or less expensively address an issue, when service really needs to be done, and have also stood behind all work done. Seriously, these guys are the best. Just look at their old school building, with everybody working in the same space, parts, service, service bays, no fancy waiting room with espresso machine and you can see that it is the people that makes Smythe special, and that is the root of their success - and a great testament to the power and longevity of character.
