I was searching for a CPO Macan Turbo and saw one listed at Porsche San Francisco. I contacted the dealership and made an appointment with Eric San Vicente for a test drive. After the test drive, I decided at Porsche San Francisco. I contacted the dealership and made an appointment with Eric San Vicente for a test drive. After the test drive, I decided to proceed with the purchase. A little bit of price haggling and it was done. I signed the memo and put a deposit with an agreement to come back on that Friday to sign the paperwork and pick up the vehicle. When I came back is when the experience started to feel flat. Too many Nickel & Diming that you wouldn't expect from a premium dealership/brand. First the finance person asked for a credit card to charge the difference in price because of sales tax variation (less the $80), then I noticed a small chip on the bumper that was covered by a sticker. Instead of fixing it, they SOLD me some touch-up paint to cover it. I was also told I'll get to select an item from the gift shop, but instead I was just handed out a cap. The home delivery experience was also underwhelming. The 3 items I identified and needed assistance with and communicated to the dealership were not resolved because the specialist that came out was not aware of them, and even after consulting with the service department, they remained unresolved ( I was told what I asked for cannot be done even though multiple posts on Porsche forums say the can). Overall I'm quite happy with my purchase but I can't help but feel that the dealership just came up short. More
