I did not find out the true details of my purchase until I received my paperwork, over one week later. I requested the contact information for a finance manager, but was given the run around and asked to co I received my paperwork, over one week later. I was very impressed with his knowledge as well as how friendly and accommodating he is. He is now my go to advisor FOR ALL OF MY SERVICE NEEDS. He is a true asset to Toyota Of Tampa BAY! I must also say how friendly everyone was in the service dept.This last visit to the service dept was the best experience I have ever had at any service dept. at any dealership.We will definitely be back and I will definitely use Austin Venters for all my service needs.I bought my car at this dealership and my salesman Kenneth Acosta was equally friendly and accommodating. The salesman were great but the financing guy was awful, acted like he didn’t care. You could tell all he cared about was money. I ended up purchasing my vehicle somewhere else the following day and I’m so acted like he didn’t care. You could tell all he cared about was money. I would not buy another vehicle from Toyota of Tampa Bay and would advise people to avoid. The prices listed online are complete xxxxxxxx. The salespeople are unwilling to provide quotes unless you come to and would advise people to avoid. The prices listed online are complete xxxxxxxx. The salesman I was supposed to meet was not there after texting me 5 minutes prior to my arrival that he was(Kenny Acosta), not sure he even exists or if it’s just a text bot that dealership uses to lure people in. The negotiation process is shady and has no transparency surrounding the numbers. Salesperson and sales manager refused to accept the TrueCar printout provided by my financial institution and insisted that the vehicle list price was >$10k higher than my Truecar OTD Quote. I should have looked at the 1.3 star rating on yelp vs the Google reviews because yelp was 100% consistent with my experience. On top of getting the runaround on a vehicle for 2+ hours and having to negotiate down from a price that was $10k over the TruCar quote, the sales team and finance manager processed the sale for a similar vehicle with a different VIN. The salesperson called me at 7:30pm on a holiday weekend demanding that I come back to the dealership to resign paperwork and refused to put anything in writing surrounding the mistake. Wouldn’t reply to texts, would’t reply to emails). Ultimately, I had to drive back to the dealership (1 hr from my home) and spend an hour waiting to resign paperwork and wasn’t offered any type of compensation, apologies or remedy for the inconvenience. I rated a 1/5 stars because I can’t do 0 and I also like the truck so far. I hated the high pressure sales process at TTB, I hated that the sales reps don’t honor true car pricing, and I hated that after driving off the lot after an unnecessarily stressful car buying experience, I wasn’t even able to move on and enjoy my truck and instead had to return to deal with this group again.
