The sales team at Bill Utter Ford has always treated my wife and me with respect and helped us with our purchase. I bought a $32,000 used vehicle from this dealer that had a complete failure in the 4th month of ownership that was quoted $7,300 to repair. Used sales manager Ken spoke to me on the phone and stated tha a complete failure in the 4th month of ownership that was quoted $7,300 to repair. Used sales manager Ken spoke to me on the phone and stated that the manufacture should cover the cost being that their warranty was only 60 days from expiration. I pointed out that I bought the vehicle from them, not the manufacturer, and that my warranty with Bill Utter Ford was only 39 days past the 3-month warranty. Ken disagreed, seemingly holding the manufacturer to a higher standard than Bill Utter Ford holds itself. The next part is most concerning. Ken's recommendation was to buy a used replacement part and have a third party install the part so that I could get rid of the car. I questioned the morals of this option as it would only put someone else in the same situation I am in, to which Ken responded: "Maybe, maybe not". Anyone considering purchasing a used vehicle from Bill Utter Ford should consider my experience before doing so. More
