They told me they would only try one other bank (Wells Fargo), but later submitted my loan to Santander without ever discussing it with me. I was asked to come back in and re-sign paperwork — and the rate they ended up giving me was the same one I already had with Capital One. Now I’m making payments soon on a deal that didn’t match what I agreed to. The lack of transparency and communication has been extremely disappointing. More
