My BIG concern on this purchase was going to be how easily to would be to transport my hanicapped sister and all the walkers and such items. Since it is very difficult to get my sister out, Tom offered for us to take the car for a few hours, pick her up and make sure she was comfortable getting in and out. That worked out wonderfully. When we came back, Larry was our go to person now. He was very helpful also and went over more details with us. Also, we were trading in a vehicle that needed my sisters signature, Larry offered to follow us home to get the final paperwork completed. I can not express how much that small gesture meant to me. I went in to Valley Honda because my family has been with Valley Honda for YEARS with no issues and after going to many different dealerships, used car places, EVERYWHERE!! The reps at other places kept send Valley Honda for YEARS with no issues and after going to many different dealerships, used car places, EVERYWHERE!! The reps at other places kept sending me to drive vehicles ALONE and not showing me much that i wanted. Everyone kept showing me 2025’s, and saying I had to lease to be within my budget.. not explaining anything about the vehicles, and even though I kept saying i wanted to see USED vehicles ONLY they kept with the 2025’s!! Anyway, i went in just to speak to someone about the used Vehicles on the lot & Derek Lee was just walking by and they asked if he could help me. No hesitation, he shook my hand asked about my day, offered water/coffee, very polite and professional during my entire experience! Respectful of what I was looking for. He was very patient with me, listened to me, & no matter how many questions. (I asked him lots of questions after having a horrible experience at hyundai with my previous vehicle). He was not frustrated with me. He asked what i was looking for, i let him know a few things, & he was set on what i needed and wanted! He showed me very affordable vehicles in my range, not just 1, 2, or 3! He showed me lots!! By this time my father showed up, and ofcourse I saw a beautiful brand new CRV and fell in LOVE but, i couldnt afford that!! So Derek found the same vehicle lightly used/leased, cheaper, low miles, beautiful, explained everything to me in detail! I couldnt have asked for a better experience!! This was important as I am an out of state customer, so I was unable to simply drive over to the dealership to explore the vehicles. All of my questions were answered in a timely manner, the answers I received were clear and straightforward, there was no concern with having to play games or jump through hoops to get the information I needed. Ultimately I landed on purchasing a new vehicle, I traveled in from out of town, and was even picked up by Edgar and given a ride to the dealership to finalize the transaction.
