Salesman Bob licht only thinks about himself. The service department is the worst and unprofessional department I have ever seen. From top to bottom. I had dealings with every service department manager. There were five of them that were very unprofessional to listen to my concerns. I bought my 2018 Toyota Tundra back in May of 2023. There was an unusual sound my front suspension was making. From there top technicians could not figure out was wrong with it. It was brought to them seven times to diagnose this problem. They try to charge me a diagnostic fee of one hundred seventy dollars. I insisted with all service managers that I have the best warranty which I payed for which is the platinum. Till this day they finally have diagnosed the problem and they said they were waiting for part to come in. I called them last week and the part came in two weeks ago. Now it has been three weeks now since they diagnosed problem and they still have me waiting to get my truck fix. Like I said I pay good money for this warranty which is a platinum warranty. Why do i keep getting pushed to back of the line ? To get my truck fix it has been SEVEN months. Is this truck considered a lemon. Any lawyers out there that might know the law about this matter please let me know. Oh by the way I dealt with the customer relationship supervisor I guess you know the outcome of this conversation. No help once again. From every single person I dealt with at Lakeside Toyota 3701 N Causeway Metairie Louisiana 70002. I just don’t know how this dealership stays in business. Happy Holidays More

The service department try their best with every customer. Just like other businesses, some things are out of the employees control. I've never had an issue in years with them. I agree with you, Disappointed. My recent review seems to have been removed. And it was not a good one. The only good thing I have to say is a young lady named Kelsey (not a service mngr) stepped up to provide me customer service because no service manager would. I believe the service is shotty. The service managers don’t seem to care. They are dishonest, disrespectful and discriminating. I have placed my car in the hands of another Toyota service center that treats me like a valued customer. I’m sure Lakeside Toyota will be removing this review too. More

If you check the website, you will see that they do not publish the negative reviews. Brought the car in because we thought there was a problem with the TPMS sensors. We were told that there was a nail in publish the negative reviews. Brought the car in because we thought there was a problem with the TPMS sensors. We were told that there was a nail in the tire, but it could not be repaired. The nail was not in the sidewall, and we were not offered any explanation as to why it could not be fixed. When we called back, we were always transferred to a voicemail. We had to finally call corporate to have them witness the lack of effort that this staff displays. Please avoid this dealership if you are expecting quality service. More

I scheduled an appointment multiple days in advance to see why my check engine light was on. I made the appointment online and was given the option to select to wait or to drop the vehicle off. Upon arriving I was asked if I could leave the vehicle because it would be at least a 3 hour wait. I asked why I had the option to wait for the vehicle if it was going to take that long. All they ha e to do is connect to a computer and it tells them what is wrong. I’m not dumb. 10-15 minutes ma. That would take. They could not explain. Why I had the option to select to wait if I was asked to drop it off. Karl advised me I could still wait. For 3 hours at least. They were”short staffed and backed up” I was not called in advance and told it would take this long or that I would have to leave the vehicle. Next time I will be driving to another Toyota dealership. I can’t wait to see what they tell me is wrong. $140 minimum to check the computer. Don’t bring your car here. If you do make sure you have a whole day to sit in a dealership where no one is friendly. Great way to treat your first responders lakeside Toyota. More

Do not bring your car here under any circumstances. The service staff are incredibly rude, unreliable, and unresponsive. It is almost impossible to get any information from them as they don’t read emails b service staff are incredibly rude, unreliable, and unresponsive. I would highly recommend people drive to Toyota of New Orleans out in New Orleans east instead! I will happily remove this review if I ever hear back from Karl Meredith who has ignored my attempts to reach out and resolve the issue. More

Horrible Service Department and Management We brought our Toyota Highlander Hybrid in for a new battery and it's regularly scheduled service. When we picked up the vehicle, the backup camera an We brought our Toyota Highlander Hybrid in for a new battery and it's regularly scheduled service. When we picked up the vehicle, the backup camera and radio no longer worked. When we pointed this out, they told us the tech had left for the day (it was a Friday afternoon) and we had to make a new appointment to have it looked at. When he brought it back the following Tuesday, they had the vehicle all day. When we came to pick up the vehicle, we were told the tech could not get the radio or backup camera to work but that there was no correlation between the malfunction and the changing of the battery. First off, what tech (who wants to keep his job) is going to admit they 'broke' a fully-functioning radio and backup camera?? Karl informed us of the tech's findings and said it was a "coincidence" that the radio and back up camera no longer worked. Karl then went as far as to say that they don't "fix" radios. However, he did offer to replace the entire unit for a mere $3,000+. Had Karl even taken some responsibility and offered to discount our service so we could put even $500 towards getting this fixed, we would have been satisfied. But no, he would not take one iota of responsibility. So much for the customer is always right. Never using this dealership again. More
