Serra Volkswagen responded

This vehicle came in for diagnosis on vibration while driving, noise from the transmission, and to have the check engine light checked. We recommended 4 tire replacement with an alignment as the tires were too worn to perform a rotate and balance. The check engine light had no codes when we inspected it due to the customer, on his own admission, had cleared the codes, so we had no codes to further diagnose the issue. We also recommended performing a transmission fluid service to try and correct the noise from the transmission. The customer declined all recommendations and picked the vehicle up.
