This was the first time I leased a car and I’m glad that I went to Wantagh Mazda. I shopped for my CX-5 at a few dealerships, truecar and Costco. Wantagh Mazda offered the best price and made the leasing experience as easy as possible. My salesperson, Josh Pena, was terrific. He Was completely transparent, presenting all information in a thorough and clear manner. Josh responded to questions and concerns promptly. The few issues that I had were resolved quickly and in a very reasonable manner. Wantagh Mazda delivered on everything they promised ....and more! Truly great customer service ! More

Great experience, highly recommended! There was no price switching or game playing. I was presented with a very acceptable lease price and the process was quick and painless. My sales rep, There was no price switching or game playing. I was presented with a very acceptable lease price and the process was quick and painless. My sales rep, the sales manager and the finance manager all introduced themselves and were very friendly and helpful in getting the lease done. The color I wanted was not in stock, but, two days after signing the lease agreement, I was called and notified that the car had arrived and that it would be ready early the next week. This was on a Friday. On Monday, the Finance Manager, Kenny called me and asked when I wanted to come in and pick the car off, and drop my previous lease off. Any time I called and left a message, my call was returned promptly. My dealings with Huntington Mazda, which is where I leased my first CX-5 from, were nowhere near as positive. I was given an unreasonable lease price, very limited color options, and basically given the impression "take this color" or you won't get this price, which ended up being higher than originally quoted. In a follow up call from Huntington Mazda, of which I received several (doesn't anyone there talk to anyone else?) the Sales Manager blamed the salesman, which left me with a very bad impression of that dealership. I am glad I went to Wantaugh Mazda, because my wife and I really wanted to lease another CX-5, and, based upon my experience at Huntington, I was considering another brand. More

DESERVING OF THEIR TOP SPOT ON DEALER RATER! Is it possible to give five stars to a dealer who never even sold you a car? YES! This is about my experience with Wantagh Mazda, a dealer so focused Is it possible to give five stars to a dealer who never even sold you a car? YES! This is about my experience with Wantagh Mazda, a dealer so focused on customer service, that even when Joe, their sales manager, couldn't sell me the Mazda I wanted, he made sure I got the car anyway. Here's how that happened. I was looking for a 2020 CX-5 Signature in 1 of 2 colors which, due to Mazda's COVID production shutdowns, I couldn't find anywhere. Wantagh Mazda is about 40 miles from my home, but I reached out to them because they are the top-rated Mazda dealer on DealerRater in the NY area. That was important to me because I hate getting the runaround from unscrupulous dealerships, which still happens far too often. Joe made his intentions immediately clear to me: "I will do everything I can to help get this car for you, but I am not going to string you along if I can't." That is the kind of honest, no-nonsense approach that I find is all too rare when shopping for a new car. After much searching--and a few close calls with dealers who showed the Mazda I wanted in inventory, but turned out not to actually have the cars--Joe finally found the CX-5 Signature that I wanted in red, which was my top choice. He did his best to get if for me, trying to arrange a car swap with the dealer who had it, but the dealer didn't want to give it up. At that point, most dealers would have simply said, "Sorry, I can't get the car" and then tried to sell me on something else that they had in inventory or knew that they could get. Instead, Joe said, "I know you really want this car, so here's the contact info for the dealer I found who has it, here's the email for their sales manager who I've been talking to, and see if they'll sell it to you directly." Well, I did contact that dealer and I'm now driving EXACTLY the 2020 Mazda CX-5 Signature in red that I wanted, and it's all thanks to Joe at Wantagh Mazda, even though they didn't make a penny on the sale. The dealer he connected me with was in a very small town out-of-state, and I never would have found them on my own. I can't thank him enough for this outstanding customer service, and I look forward to having my car serviced in the future at Wantagh Mazda! More

Bought a car during the pandemic from the right place I wanted to replace my 2015 Madza3 with the current model. I knew precisely what I wanted after research and a test drive. I reached out to a few dealerships in person and online. Wantagh Mazda (Josh) replied almost immediately with quotes. No fuss, no drama. No pushing of "tire insurance" or other nonsense fees and charges. But I especially liked that they were respectful of my time as I was of theirs. The entire transaction was done online and phone in a day and a half. Of course, the delivery was in person and was also another quality customer service transaction with Fred. Included proper C-19 guidelines: masks, wipe-downs etc. Car is great so far. (And so pretty!) I need more time to put it through its paces, but if its like my old Mazda it will be fine. The car buying experience is usually boring and infuriating. My experience with Wantagh Mazda is that doesn't have to be the case. More
