This is the first dealership that I have made an
appointment for service to be told by 2 employees that the appointment only puts me in line to have the car looked at and that might take 1 or 2 or 3

Poor customer service huh,,,,,, poor scheduling huh,,,,I called a few more dealerships in area and was told vehicle would be looked day of appointment. Must be hard to be a service advisor to disappoint your customers like this. Would like to have service manager call me to explain customer service and overbooking. I bet after making an appointment for his doctor he would no want to wait a couple days in the office till the doctor had time for him. Never tell a customer an excuse, your problem should not be thiers.

John, we understand that your experience did not meet your expectations and we apologize for that. While our scheduling process is intended to allow a technician to look at a vehicle the day it comes in, occasionally factors arise that cause delays in this process. When that does happen we do our best to be transparent with the customer as to what is causing the delay and what the expected timeline will be. In your case it certainly sounds like this could have been communicated better. Please call our service manager, Wes Ellis at 313-387-7362 and we can discuss this further.

I waited for a month for that appointment how many non appointments were squeezed in . You need to figure out a better way to manage your work so you can meet customer expectations.
