While I would say I received fair pricing on the used Jeep I purchased from this Ford dealership, I would also say they have the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The salesman I dealt with Jeep I purchased from this Ford dealership, I would also say they have the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The salesman I dealt with briefly was friendly and professional, however, most of my dealings were with the Used Car Sales Manager. The sale was slightly more involved as it included some repairs that we agreed would be made to the Jeep as part of the deal. I should have known what I was dealing with when they attempted to add a $300 COVID sanitation fee to the final paperwork. After the paperwork was signed, the Jeep was brought to their service department and the sales manager all but washed his hands of the situation. I received zero communication from the dealership at this point. The only time I spoke to someone was when I texted the manager or had to drive down to the dealership to speak in person. The service manager was professional and understanding considering the sales manager made the deal and dumped the repairs on him. One of the two repairs we agreed would be made turned out to be too complicated for their shop to do as they did not have the proper tools. A credit/refund was offered which I accepted as at this point as it was over a week and I still had not taken possession of the vehicle. I was told the check would be ready that evening, then the next day, then the next, then after the weekend, then it would be mailed and when I explained to the manager how this sounded to me I was told by him he "has better things to do". I found emails of some more professional employees who finally were able to have a check cut and waiting for me to pick up..... I never forced the dealership to make this sale under these conditions. If they did not want to follow though or felt it was a nuisance, then don't agree to the terms. Even when it came to the plates. Multiple times it was confirmed they were to transfer my existing plates. When the processing was done I get a call that my new plates are in. A couple days later when my wife goes in to pick them up...they couldn't find them! Turns out they were in a pile of plates to be returned to the MVC. Good thing the employee who was supposed to return them was out for the day. (Oh, Shout out to the receptionist was is absolutely lovely to deal with, Thank you!) The worst communication and customer service I have ever received at a dealership. I received and generic email from the General Sales Manager thanking me for the sale and such. I replied to that email with my sentiments and phone number and received no response. I get it, I didn't buy a new Ford from them, it was a used car deal....but if you cant provide proper customer service or communication, then don't sell used cars..... Two stars simply because it was a fair price and the salesman was a nice guy. More
