Fantastic Customer Service From the owner to the sales associate to the fiance manager wonderful customer service and people in general. All please note Franklin Kia is different from Universal Kia (different ownership) when they say they will work with you and not put you into something you can't afford they mean it and stand by it. The process took longer than expected but the overall experience was amazing! Thank you again More

We received an auto reply email from Jonathan Underwood saying the Internet sales manager will call right after the dealership opened the next day they never called.. We tried to get more information on their chat feature. None of them were helpful in getting information on financing or the car. The chat people were basically useless asking us things we did not want to know.They kept telling us we will have the Internet sales manager call us ASAP, they never called. We also saw they added a $2500 AMV (adjusted market value) just because. So we got tired of waiting and bought a Ford at Sloan Ford in Columbia. Where we had easy financing and fast service. We will never inquire about a car at Universal Kia again. More

I have been buying cars for the better part of 22 years. I have owned domestic and import brands, from all price ranges so I have a good bearing on what is crap and what is quality. I have dealt with all type of dealerships over the years as well. Some shady and not reputable and other beyond reproach. My first experience with the KIA brand was a replacement vehicle for my wife's Honda CR-V that had over 200k on it. Needless to say, it was time to be this car out to pasture, while there was literally nothing mechanically wrong with it, it was only time before the repairs began to start mounting up. We looked at all of the usual suspects and then came across the 2011 Kia Sorento EX AWD. It had everything my wanted and then some and to this day has been a reliable and enjoyable member of our family. My Father in Law was looking for a replacement for his Ford Escape, knowing that I live and breath cars, he asked me for my opinion and I told he get a KIA, you can't beat them for features, quality or price. He went down to Carnival KIA wanting to buy a Sorento and left the same day with a Sportage EX FWD. He LOVES this vehicle. Next was my turn, December 31, 2012 I purchased a 2013 Optima EX after spending months driving literally everything in the midsize field of cars. The Optima won the day with its styling (inside and out), features, 5 star crash rating, great reliability, great MPGs, resale and low cost of ownership over an average of 5 years. It's built like a tank and feels VERY Audi like, which is a GOOD thing. Did I mention how well this car drives...it's great. My sales person Jonathan Underwood was fantastic, he went the extra mile to earn my business. Understand, I am not the easiest of customers. Jonathan is the antithesis of "car salesman". Rather, he is like that college buddy that happens to work at the dealership where you want to purchase a vehicle from. He treats you with respect, integrity and does with with a healthy does of humor. This guys truly loves his job and it SHOWS. Good catch Universal KIA, keep this guy around. The rest of the KIA staff has been professional, polite and welcoming so no worries there for the new car buyer. Recently, I traded the 2013 Optima for a 2014 Kia Sportage Turbo AWD since life dictated the need for a more utilitarian vehicle. Not to mention, both to Father and Father in Law found it impossible to to get in and out of my vehicle. Also, having all wheel drive (AWD) again, is a blessing to me sure. I have and AWD before and I missed it more than I have room to describe it. The Sportage is a "jack of all trades" vehicle, than looks good being the "all around team player". Did I mention it has a "turbo"? Yeah, that's a definite plus. In summary, I am MORE than pleased with my new purchase (Sportage), and the dealership I purchased from (again). I would highly (and have already) recommend Jonathan Underwood and Universal KIA without reservation to family, friends and coworkers. More

I was exceptionally please with Jonathan Underwood. He responded to my emails in a very timely fashion, was always professional, and very personable. He was in no way pushy, rude, or aggressive like other responded to my emails in a very timely fashion, was always professional, and very personable. He was in no way pushy, rude, or aggressive like other car salesman I had previously dealt with. He arranged for the car I wanted to be brought from Universal Kia Antioch (where I received outrageous treatment) to Universal Kia Franklin within hours. He explained all of the charges and the process to me, a first time car buyer. I bought the car from him that night. He deserves to be recognized for his service. I would highly recommend buying a car from him. More

Got a car put down a down payment had car 5 weeks for them to call and say they needed car back even though my payment wasn't late and none of them could give me a correct answer on why this happened. It took days to get a returned phone call than they were rude about the situation than it took a week to get my down payment refunded so I could go some where else to get another car. None of my family nor myself will ever but a vehicle from Kia in Franklin tn! More
