So I went to first Kia of Simi Valley to purchase a brand new 2026 Kia EV. I asked the dealer if Kia would buy out the remaining five months of my lease. They agreed to do so and I purchased a 2026 Kia EV. I new 2026 Kia EV. I asked the dealer if Kia would buy out the remaining five months of my lease. They agreed to do so and I purchased a 2026 Kia EV. I did not lease the vehicle. Paid cash. A few months later I get a bill for 400 dollars saying I owe a disposition fee. Which is a turn in fee. I called Kia finance and they told me I owe the 400. Tried to explain to no avail that First Kia bought out my lease. I called First Kia and they refused to work with me. So I owe the 400. It was NEVER explained to me about that I would owe the disposition fee. If it was explained to me we might have worked out some sort of deal. I will NOT ever do business again with this dealership. More

I typically do not leave negative reviews, but my recent experience with this service department was deeply disappointing. From the outset, communication was inconsistent, and several commitments made durin experience with this service department was deeply disappointing. From the outset, communication was inconsistent, and several commitments made during the process were either delayed or not fulfilled as promised. Attempts to resolve the issues directly with the department were met with minimal responsiveness and a lack of accountability, which only added to the frustration. I have since raised these concerns with KIA North America, who confirmed they are reviewing the situation. While I hope this leads to improvements in how the department operates, I have my doubts as the lack of professionalism and integrity looks to be systemic. More

I charged $3,000+ over MSP when I purchased my Niro. Knowing I was in desperate need of a vehicle, they said "pay it or we will find someone who will". I had no choice unfortunately. Since then they have continued to email me "You came in to 1st Kia but didn't buy, and that's totally fine, But right now, the timing couldn't be better". WRONG! Don't even get me started on this "Johnny Kia" nonsense. Clearly this guy doesn't want any accountability. The staff when I called wouldn't even give me his name. "He goes by Johnny Kia". I don't care what he goes by. I want to know his REAL NAME and it sure as xxxx isn't Kia. More

Johnny, general sales mgr was rude, unprofessional, and I would not recommend this dealer to anyone. They have lots of complaints about rude treatment, and I was the subject of his unprofessionalism, spoke u would not recommend this dealer to anyone. They have lots of complaints about rude treatment, and I was the subject of his unprofessionalism, spoke under his breathe about a request I made in jest and was too unsure of himself to say it to my face, so he made the comment passing by me rather than to my face, His general demeanor does not represent himself in a professional way. They told me they were doing me “a favor” by doing my lease buyout paperwork, a total of over $14,000 dollars and his demeanor was disgusting for a professional position he is in. Clean your act up or learn how to speak more respectfully to a female senior customer!! More

Me and my sister contacted Kia of Simi Valley on Sunday, April 21st. The salesmen's who picked up the phone was Josh, a very nice and polite guy. I explained to him about the car that I'm looking for and I told him that I have $5,000 down payment and to pay $600 a month out the door for sixty months, Financing. I explained to him that I need all the numbers prior to me coming to the dealer at Simi valley. Josh took the time to check, and he called me back saying I have a great news for you. We can give it to you for the $600 with the $5,000 down. Just come over. I said grate and made an appointment with him. At the appointment they increased the number of payments/months to 84 at $600 a month and the Manager JOHNNY KIA said that he was next to josh when I called the dealership and that i never said 60 months, which was clearly a lie!! because they recording the calls (I will get back to that). JOHNNY started all is sales pitch on us and why we are not understanding, and he give us the car at no profit, and 84 month is what everybody doing etc. etc. The deal that he was offering after he worked so hard, I already got from a different kia dealer without any negotiation. Once I realized the game they were playing, I understudy that we cannot buy the car from them. I don’t mind if the deal that I was asking is not doable for them, then they just needed to say, no we can’t, and I wouldn’t lose my day of work and drive all the way from Tarzana to simi valley and back. 40 minutes after I left the dealer, I received a call from JOSH, and he was telling me that he listened to the recorded call and that it was 60 months!!! More

Very well informed on all of the details of the cars, and a lot of other subjects too! Johnny, the manager, was great in doing whatever he could to make the deal work for us. In this particular period of car sales, where inventory is incredibly limited and availability is loaded with unknowns, it’s extra difficult at both ends, dealer and buyer – to have it all work out in a way that’s beneficial to both parties. Our salesman, Eddie, was friendly and not pushy, allowing us time and space to look at different cars and talk things over.
