This was the fourth vehicle we bought from them and each time they go above or beyond to treat us special. There was a snag with the order because Ford changed something and George Coleman made it right ev time they go above or beyond to treat us special. What a scam! Found the perfect used vehicle at a great price online. Another dealership previously gave us a decent price for our trade-in, so we thought we were Found the perfect used vehicle at a great price online. Another dealership previously gave us a decent price for our trade-in, so we thought we were in the ballpark for this vehicle. After the salesman prefaced the offer with a long explanation of how they don't use blue book or Edmund's, they offered almost half for our trade. That put the deal over $8k more than we budgeted for. We stopped at another dealership on our 3+ hour drive back home and that dealership gave us a written appraisal for our trade-in to use towards any vehicle they sold. That offer was $7k higher than Coleman's appraisal and their exact vehicle was priced $2k less and had less miles! More

Went by to check on some used trucks and talked with Joe Garland. He listened to what I was looking for had nothing like I wanted at that time. But he did not just forget me. Kept in touch and found me a deal on a new truck that was all I wanted and it was affordable. It was a great experience and Joe and the rest of the staff was very helpful through the whole process. I bought my truck from Joe Garland 3 1/2 years ago and had a great experience so when I wanted to get my wife an SUV for Christmas, I went back to GCF and Joe and the entire staff went above and beyond to had a great experience so when I wanted to get my wife an SUV for Christmas, I went back to GCF and Joe and the entire staff went above and beyond to help me pull off a great Christmas surprise for my wife. Great people to work with. I drove 125 miles to look at a used car I saw on cars.com website. They called me several times and sent many pictures to my phone, as requested. So, I made the trip on a Saturday morning, was greeted quickly and shown the car. Test drove the car, liked it, they knocked off some $$ since it had not been run through their service dept yet (they had only had the car a couple days-and I wanted it then so...) Gerald got me a low finance rate after checking around with different lenders (at my request-I’ve got great credit, so didn’t settle for his first quote). Drove it home after a couple hours time! Even though I didn’t buy a Ford from them, they made me feel like family. I would definitely buy another car from them. The whole experience was no pressure from start to end. One of the best things- NO DOC fees! They just don’t believe in them.. said they get a lot of people from other states buying from them just because of that if nothing else. I drove from Tennessee to get this car, and would again! More

Purchasing Experience I found the people at George Coleman very easy to work with. Joe was very helpful and will consider working with him the next time i need a car. Ford Motor Credit ,however, was a terrible experience, It did not concern them that i had a password on my credit . They where very rigid in their process and it did not concern them that access to my credit score had to be opened up for the world to see. This exposes me to risk and identity thief. I will never talk or do business with them again and will consider legal action if i suffer any negative impacts due to my credit information being exposed . They can take their process and ____ . More

Painless Buying Experience I bought my first truck from George Coleman Ford in 2005 and while it was an excellent experience, I decided to shop around when searching for a new t I bought my first truck from George Coleman Ford in 2005 and while it was an excellent experience, I decided to shop around when searching for a new truck in 2014. I visited a couple Ford dealerships in the Greenville area and was either immediately attacked with shady business dealings or not taken seriously. As a woman and a business owner, needing a truck that met the needs of her farm, I was referred to Joe Garland at George Coleman and never looked back, nor bothered to return the calls of the other dealerships I walked out of. Joe not only went out of his way to confirm the hauling specs of the vehicle I was considering, but he found the absolute truck that I was looking for, down to interior color and features. His initial price was fair, well to the low side of similar trucks on the market, but even after I had mostly committed to the vehicle, he worked with his manager to reduce the price even more. I bought the truck sight unseen and will always remember his call to say, "This is a beautiful truck," when it arrived at the dealership. When I came the next day to finish paperwork and drive off the lot, the experience was doubly compounded by the amazing staff who took care of my every need. I will be purchasing all my future vehicles from George Coleman and referring them to everyone I know. Thank you so much for the pain-free truck buying experience! More

I bought a new fusion. It was delivered with grease spots on the headliner and an abrasion on the dash. They didn't seem to care and it took three trips to finally get the headliner cleaned. The abrasion is still there and they are not going to do anything about it. I now have a new car with acratches on the dash and I look at it every time I get in the car.
