We were looking at several cars, the Mazda 3, Honda Civc, and Hyundai Elantra. We visited 2 separate dealerships for each model, and test drove each car at each dealership, (6 test drives). When we went to W and Hyundai Elantra. We visited 2 separate dealerships for each model, and test drove each car at each dealership, (6 test drives). When we went to Wantagh Mazda we met David, who showed us the car, then gave us the keys for a test drive, after the test drive he answered all of our questions, and we told him we wanted to look at other cars. David was ok with this and did not pressure us to purchase. We then went to Honda City, Atlantic Hyundai, Advantage Hyundai, Millennium Honda, and Garden City Mazda. (We also did test drive the VW Jetta, and Toyota Corolla, but didn't like either car). After meeting 8 different salespeople, and 8 dealerships, we went back to Wantagh Mazda. It was David's day off, so we spoke to Joe S, the sales manager, we told him our story, and that we had spoken with David already, and that we were ready to buy. There was no BS, he gave us a price, I told him my best price, and we made a deal that I was happy with. He then handed us over to Joe B who wrote up the sales agreement. David called us later to thank us, and was there when we picked up the car to show us about it and do the paperwork. I am 55 yeas old and this was the first new car experience for my daughter, she drove every car, twice, and I assisted her with the sale. I have bought many new cars, but never this easy, with no pressure whatsoever from Wantagh Mazda. I cannot comment on service, yet, but would recommend for new car purchase. More

Mr. Bonavita was very helpful, coming in on his day off because it was more convenient for me. He was not pushy at all, but friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and he even synched the Bluetooth for my p because it was more convenient for me. He was not pushy at all, but friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and he even synched the Bluetooth for my phone in the new car. He answered all my questions, was instrumental in getting the loan pushed through in a surprisingly short time, and ultimately was able to "put me in the driver's seat" of the exact car (by VIN) I had requested, on the same afternoon I came in. I got an excellent financing deal, a good price on a fabulous car, and even a decent trade-in value for my old car. Mr. Bonavita was also able to handle the entire transaction personally, as opposed to sending me around to five different managers, finance agents and title specialists. He did it all seamlessly, and with enthusiasm and efficiency. I would highly recommend visiting him if you'd like to check out a new Mazda -- which, by the way, is an excellent vehicle. More

Had such a good experience with wantagh Mazda whether it was with my 6 or purchasing the cx-5. Joe B was straight forward and a good guy. This is our 2nd Mazda purchase from Wantagh Mazda. The reason we came back is because of the experience we had the first time. They took very good care of us then and we knew we would be taken care of thi reason we came back is because of the experience we had the first time. When we were finally able to get to the showroom Joe was busy with another customer and instead of keeping us waiting Ken took over and was a tremendous help. He took very good care of us. Would definitely recommend and go back. More

I knew I wanted to buy the Mazda3 iTouring w/ Manual transmission and my goal was to do my research, find a good price, and drive home a new car within 3 days. That is exactly what I did and after corre transmission and my goal was to do my research, find a good price, and drive home a new car within 3 days. That is exactly what I did and after corresponding with several dealerships via email, Joe Bonavita made me want to choose Wantagh Mazda. Other dealerships were unfriendly (or at best very curt, as if they were doing me a favor). After finding the best price quote I could, Joe Bonavita matched the price and made Wantagh Mazda an easy choice for me. I was able to get a written invoice, get approved for 0% financing, secure insurance/registration, and schedule a pick up time--all within the span of two work days. The night I went to pick up my new car, it literally took about 15 minutes to sign the papers and leave the dealership. Not once did Joe try to up-sell me on any extras or add-ons. Basically, I am still amazed that I could decide on a car Sunday night and drive it home Wednesday evening with minimal effort and still get a nice price and 0% financing. Internet sales is definitely the way to go for low hassle and Joe is great at reading the wishes of the customer. I will recommend you guys to anyone I know. Thanks, Danny More

I saw at least 5 different dealerships and test drove 4 different cars. I did my homework and researched the cars...mpg, repair costs, costs, accessories. I went to Wantagh Mazda first and they set a very high bar that no other dealership or sales people could match. I was treated with respect and given credit for my knowledge. With other dealerships, it was like a feeding frenzy when I walked in. Despite my telling other salesman that I was NOT buying today and that I didn't spend $20,000 on an impulse, they continued with the hard sell. It was disgusting. Joe B. treated me as an individual. He understood what I was looking for and worked with me. It was the best decision I ever made going back to Mazda and Joe. I met with Dan for the financial stuff. He was personable, respectful and gave the me the information I needed. I have already recommended Joe and Wantagh Mazda to everyone I know. More

having had a mazda already; i knew i would look at another mazda as my first choice. joe was very polite; knowledgeable about the car we had inquired about. He and my husband had exchanged many e mails back and forth and joe always responded quickly. we felt he really wanted to do whatever he could to purchase the car. He explained the various rebates; options; financial options; and in a patient calm way. Upon our picking up the car; he carefully went over the inside of the car with me; instrument panel; etc. He was a pleasure to work with and would recommend him to others. As a matter of fact; my son who is now in Spain in school will be coming home in July and is thinking of purchasing a mazda 3. we will definitely have him to to Joe.! More
