With pricing availability online and vehicles selling at set prices, dealerships have had to rely on a greater degree of customer service and customer satisfaction to differentiate themselves from the competition. I've been a GMC truck guy for years, shopped at most of the their major dealerships in the Twin Cities and overall my experiences were positive. Auto dealers really have raised the bar when it comes to customer service. Not being a RAM guy, when I saw the 2019 "New 1500" RAM, it piqued my interest and I had to check it out so I went to Belzer's in Lakeville, my first visit. Two hours after I walked in, I had traded in my GMC and drove out in my new RAM. It was the absolute best auto buying experience I had ever had. These guys operate on a higher level. From the friendly greeting of the receptionist (my apologies for forgetting your name); the Vehicle Sale by Steve Hawley; the Options Sales by RA3; the business end of the transaction with Jim McMahon and Delivery with Tyler Grubb, it was all pleasant and seamless. I own a small business and pay attention to how other businesses operate. I was absolutely amazed at how well this business functioned, it was a well oiled machine. They have their processes down to a science and everyone was very competent in their area of expertise. But, the best part of it all, they were the nicest people you could meet, everyone of them. It was like dealing with people I had know forever. They answered all my questions, were professional and they did so in a manner that made me and other customers I observed very comfortable. They all seemed to really enjoy their jobs. It was pretty cool. I haven't even mentioned price. Belzer's is one of the most competitive dealers in town. How can they be so price competitive? By moving high volumes of vehicles. Their approach to customer satisfaction drives sales which in turn puts them in high regard with the automakers when it comes to automobile allotments. My visit to Belzer's yesterday was the best auto buying experience I've ever had, period. I can unequivocally say, Belzer's is the "Best of the Best" when it comes to buying a vehicle. Well done all! A long 4 hours . . . Give me your best interest rate to start. My new truck was almost out of fuel so I had to drive it across the street to fill it. Bed was full of snow. Salesman was working with another customer while trying to work with me making the whole process take forever. I am pretty sure my trade in had the photo taken of it before I even agreed to sell it. Now have to take it in to get repairs done on it and I won't get a loan vehicle to use. It was very high pressure sales. Your selection of trucks was plentiful which is why I came there. We hammered out a deal over the phone but we had concerns that the deal wouldn't be the same once we made the drive. We had initially worked with Bob Portwood from the New Prague location but the truck we decided we wanted was at the Lakeville dealership, so it ended up being a joint effort to get us what we wanted. Everyone we had contact with was professional and helpful, and we never felt pressured. The deal we had worked out never changed and we drove out in a brand new 2019 Ram. All in all, it was definitely worth the drive. More
