Steve in service & Jexson in sales are really a pleasure to work with. My issue was - I had the battery light come on & the engine light, so I went to the dealer, I did not have an appointment, but was hop to work with. My issue was - I had the battery light come on & the engine light, so I went to the dealer, I did not have an appointment, but was hoping they could see if I just needed a battery or something more. This was about 3 weeks ago & at that time, Steve told me he had a huge backup and it would be about 3 weeks before I could get service. That was obviously unacceptable - I ended up calling AAA - they came out, installed a new battery the same day. Since then - my engine light is STILL on. I stopped one time and there again was a long wait. I have been ill so have not gone back since Easter. I will call in the next couple of days to get it looked at. So, the wait time is really unacceptably and I would like my maintenance & service to be at Gettel, seems the demand is obviously out distancing the availability. Maybe year round residents could somehow, get some priority! Berneice More

Saw car ad online for $13800. 00 Went in to purchase for cash. Stated up front I did not want anything but the car and would write them a check. I reached out to Gettel Lincoln about a 2022 BMW 7 Series that they listed for sale, trying to gather information and negotiate a price, considering the over 100-mile distance. Jexson responded as the Sales that they listed for sale, trying to gather information and negotiate a price, considering the over 100-mile distance. Jexson responded as the Sales Person. Although our initial conversation seemed fine, he consistently ignored my inquiries about taking my current leased car (with 7 months remaining) and the prevailing interest rates. Despite clarifying my credit score is well above 800 and my willingness to put down more than 25%, he disregarded this until his final email, where he abruptly stated, 'Time has done the negotiating for you on this particular unit,' his exact words. In all my years dealing with dealerships, I've never encountered such dismissive behavior. It's disappointing to essentially be told to 'get lost' (putting this in a nice term) for asking legitimate questions and attempting to negotiate. It's unprofessional and an upsetting experience. I hope management addresses this, so others won’t face the same treatment. If Jexson had issues with my negotiating approach, as a representative of a reputable dealership, he could have addressed this more politely or had his manager contact me. In a sales/service business, saying things like this to a customer interested in your product is never acceptable. There's always a polite way to decline a sale/service without tarnishing the good name of the establishment. More
