We purchased our last two vehicles here and kept the first over 10 years. The second, purchased in 2022, has had multiple issues with the same module, with terrible, excuse-making, condescending, contra first over 10 years. The second, purchased in 2022, has had multiple issues with the same module, with terrible, excuse-making, condescending, contradictory, and flat-out lying service experience throughout, particularly with the transmission we just replaced under warranty. They had vehicle 4 weeks, with an advisor telling me I was “lucky” to have a loaner after 4 weeks of different reasons why transmission work hadn’t yet begun on my vehicle; then, same advisor telling me I didn’t have to purchase vehicles at Donaldson, or have them serviced there. We were given a choice of spending thousands on a brand-new transmission with 0 miles, or accepting the reworked warranty transmission, with a guarantee that it would have less than 6 k. When husband picked up SUV, no one was there to speak to him. The receipt indicates the warrantied transmission has 60k miles, not the previously guaranteed lesser amount. We still have not received an explanation over a week later. We purchased because of our stellar experience with Donalson for over 10 years. That customer service is evidently no longer the case.
