Sales manager did not own up to us words. Changed his statement while we were in the finance office. Shouted at his sales man over us while we were sitting infront of him in the office. All I can say is Saturday was our lucky day! Erik was our salesman and he was fantastic!! We were looking for a used truck with low miles! Erik showed us the perfect truck, a black 2020 platinum Erik was our salesman and he was fantastic!! We were looking for a used truck with low miles! Erik showed us the perfect truck, a black 2020 platinum with low miles! Someone had put a deposit on it a few days prior but lucky for us deposits only hold the price not the vehicle. Not sure why someone would wait days to buy the perfect vehicle especially when there is a car shortage but their foolishness in waiting was our blessing. Ya snooze ya lose. We were able to purchase the truck that very same day and bring it home! My husband has never been so happy over a vehicle! This truck has everything we wanted and then some! I can’t say enough good things about this dealership and it’s salespeople, everyone was in an upbeat mood, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and all went above and beyond in making this the greatest buying experience ever! I am 58 years old and I have never had a more pleasurable buying experience then the one I had at Fair Oaks Ford! I will never, ever buy from any other dealership again! This store is hands down the best! Erik, Bob, Bajes, Jeremy, thank you especially for making mine and my husbands dream come true! More

I would fire 2 of the 4 who i met. This begins with Jimmy. Jimmy tolerates, maybe encourages incompetence and Chaos. My first contact was with Evelyn over the phone she said, "the deposit is $500.00 Jimmy. Jimmy tolerates, maybe encourages incompetence and Chaos. My first contact was with Evelyn over the phone she said, "the deposit is $500.00 and you will get it back if you don't actually buy the Maverick." Fire Jeremy Tally. I called Jeremy Tally after Evelyn told me that i had to go to the store to actually place my order. Keep Evelyn A friend of mine at the Lincoln store told me that he would tell Jeremy that i am a high roller who has bought maybe 20 vehicles from Fair Oaks. Jeremy, "Who are you?". I went to the store. Jeremy was busy. I was vectored to Rich Wilson. Keep Rich. Rich needs more training but he is smart and personable and thoughtful. Rich told me that the deposit would be $1000.00. I told him that Ethyl said $500.00. Rich conferred with Jeremy and came back saying ok, $500.00. Then Rich showed me the agreement. It said that "the deposit is not refundable." I protested and Rich had Jeremy come to the table. I told Jeremy what Evelyn told me about the deposit being refundable. With fire in his eyes, Jeremy says, "This will cost Evelyn her job". I said, "Jeremy I am not feeling good about this". he crossed out the clause. Definitely fire Jeremy Tally. A couple of days later my wife was phoned by another sales person. I don't remember his name. But, i had never given my wifes cell phone to any Ford person. He told her that I needed to go to the store to review the order. Rich Wilson had skipped this part of the process and giving me a copy of the order. I don't blame this on Rich. It seems to me that Jimmy tolerates a hostile work environment that intimidates smart people like Rich. Evelyn should not be intimidated. In the middle of this fiasco I contacted the Ford XPlan people. I was told that that the deposit amount is up to the dealer but that Ford policy is to refund the deposit. Clearly jimmy is violating this policy. More

Leased a 2020 Explorer in November 2019 and to date, here is a small list of issues that I have had to bring this vehicle back in for service: 1. Driver side window will not roll up (brought in multiple times for this issue) 2. Brought in for recall on shifting issues. Had to bring back as recall fix didn't resolve issue and valves had to be replaced. 3. Previous issue still not fixed and brought in again for them to rebuild transmission. 4. Air vent fell out of the ceiling and on to my daughters head. Radio randomly resets back to the first preset station when trying to scroll through presets. In short, in 20 months, my car has been in the shop for work no less that 7 times, some for new issues, most for issues that were not fixed properly the first out third times. Ford Motor company denied the lemon law claim, because the state of Illinois denied the claim. The lemon law for Illinois in 12 months, so because Illinois denied the claim, Ford denied the claim. Fair Oaks Ford thinks this ok and insulted me with an offer to trade in my car for the same model or will not compromise in price for an F150. Yes, the dealership would need to take a significant loss on the F150, but I'm not sure they actually value customer service or customer loyalty. I'm as loyal as they come and would have spent money on the next 3 cars at that dealership for my wife and 2 daughters, but they do not have the vision. Not too mention, they are going to continue to take a loss when I have to keep bringing my car in every 3 months to have more warranty work completed. More
