This dealership took three and a half hours to get my car to a mechanic to perform a diagnostic inspection for an intermittent oil leak inside my vehicle. During that time, the service writer did not make co to a mechanic to perform a diagnostic inspection for an intermittent oil leak inside my vehicle. During that time, the service writer did not make contact with me nor attempted to update me on the status of my vehicle. When I finally located the service writer, and asked him what’s going on, he stated to me that the mechanic just got the vehicle and was checking it. Five minute’s later he comes to me and says it was a steering column issue with the seals and that the entire steering column had to be replaced at a cost in excess of $3,000.00 dollars. I said to him, how does this diagnosis come about in just five minutes. The entire dash along with surrounding materials covering the steering column had to be removed in order to inspect it. I told the service writer to give me my car back. He went to get it in less than five minutes. Nothing seemed to have been touched around the steering wheel or anything of that nature. I know for a fact that my vehicle does not have hydraulic fluid in the steering column therefore eliminating the possibility of it being a problem with the steering column seals. I told him that it may very well be a problem with the Brake Fluid Master cylinder. No mention of that being an issue and absolutely no contact or communication from the mechanic on the status link provided. This dealership’s service department and personnel are failing their customers and discouraging me from purchasing another Hyundai from them. I will be taking my business elsewhere. More

Not sure they have expert on the hybrid model. Whole day the new car was retained and on Monday it was just done a system reset.
