I apologize that you are frustrated with our WRX policy, however it is one that we have enforced for the past 12 years with great success. If you had told us prior to making the trip to our dealership that you wanted to drive a WRX, we would have certainly explained our process to you before you came to our dealership. We never want anyone to feel as though his/her time has been wasted. Our policy on driving WRX is not a personal matter but rather is designed to protect the specialized and coveted nature of the WRX product. We would have been happy for you to test drive one of our WRX’s if you had been able to select the model in which you were most interested, come to an agreement on numbers, and had been prepared to purchase. This, however, was not the case when you visited us. WRX’s are not a stock car, and they carry a very prestigious buying process; customers who are truly interested in purchasing this vehicle desire to be the only person to have driven their new vehicle when they purchase it. For that reason, our policy is that we only test drive WRX’s once we know that the details of the purchase have been worked out. We have sold every single WRX under this same policy and these new WRX owners appreciate our policy, knowing that their large investment in a rare product was kept special just for them. We wish you luck in your search for a Subaru.
