I wish to grant this dealership and their entire sales team every positive compliment they are due but don't want you reading a novel! It is pertinent to mention that due to a surgeons negligence, I am 52 and permanently disabled for the rest of my life. This is important because for me a purchase like this is no small feat. I lost my vehicle a year and a half ago due to major electrical failures. For the last 3 weeks I have been persistently looking for a low mileage, right priced vehicle, as this will most likely be the last one I will purchase. I intend it to last. I live in Macomb. I will not talk negatively about any dealerships only to say I have stayed looking in the Macomb area with horrendous results. 3 vehicles that I drove, came home made the "go ahead decision" only to be told each vehicle was being sold as we spoke. One vehicle was even sold the night before and another person was setting me up with a test drive. The final straw was being told I was approved for financing by my salesman only to come in the next day with deposit in hand and told my salesman called in sick. My application was discovered on someone else's desk. He supposedly " spent all day" rerunning my financing, said once we were set, he would call you with the company to tell your insurance co. That was a week ago. Not even a text or email. I knew we were done when the financing company emailed me a survey about my experience with them. These are all very important facts when I now tell you about the LALONDE DIFFERENCE. First I would like to by name give my deepest thanks to the entire sales team. That being: Dave Harris, Alex Carpenter, Jordan LaLonde, Pete Persha, Allie Link and Jeff Bearden. Having being fed up with the Macomb area and having worked very close to Imlay City some years ago, I remembered there was a huge dealership there just couldn't remember the name. Trolled the net to find Lalonde's site. Obviously, for me it is much easier to at least start over the internet, their site was extremely user friendly, Filtering my pricepoint, milage and such brought up a miriade of choices. Finally decided on two and then one. Filled out the pre-qualifiers and started conversations via phone with Dave, my original salesman. He spent a generous amount of his time making sure that financing would work for me before I came out the next day. Unfortunately, he was unable to make it in that day, so instead of my app sitting on someone's desk he actually had me all set up with Alex. We test drove a 22 Kia Soul, little nervous having no experience with them, but impressed and said 'put a sold sign on her". At that point Alex and the rest of the team went straight to work and in a no time and at all had me set to take delivery. Now first, the starting Lalonde difference is one I've never seen at any other dealership. You have to come down to see the perks you'll get for the next year that is standard with every purchase. Very Impressive! Alex then worked with the rest of the team to bend over backwards to even up some of those perks to make sure I was truly satisfied. I honestly don't have the words to express just how thankful I was. I already have one friend who just totaled her car and actually lives close to there. She plans ongoing no where else. As for my vehicle, you discover a little on a test drive but by the time I got home I was grinning ear to ear. I haven't been this satisfied with a vehicle in a long time. So what else can I say? Ask for Alex or Dave and tell them John sent you. I guarantee they will put the same smile on your face , they did mine because that's what they do for EVERY customer that walks through their doors. Lastly, this was heartfelt because that WAS my experience! More
