My 19 year old son was in an accident, and totaled his car. He found a Hyundai Tucson online at McGrath Honda. He went with my husband to take a test drive, and loved the truck. He purchased it 2 months a car. He found a Hyundai Tucson online at McGrath Honda. He went with my husband to take a test drive, and loved the truck. He purchased it 2 months ago...and got the 90 day warranty . He didn't have an additional $4,400 for the extended warranty. He started having issues with his truck 2 WEEKS after he got it. He was traveling to Pennsylvania, and was told the warranty didn't reach that far. Now, his truck was revving at high speeds while stopped in traffic, and his truck died several times. He went to AutoZone to see what code popped up. It was catalytic converter issue. He made an appointment to bring it in to McGrath. He was there over 4 hours, and told he needs a new catalytic converter, as well as some other things that needed to be replaced. At a total of over $3,300. My son doesn't have that kind of money, so then I got involved. I spoke with GM named Jeff. He was trying to explain that it wasn't covered and he needed to pay this amount. I told him he doesn't have that money, and this truck should not be having these kind of issues two months after purchasing it. Jeff told me that he would be getting back to me in a little while, while he spoke with the technician that was working on my son's truck. He never called me back. I had called a little later in the afternoon, and I left a message. He STILL didn't call me back. That was this past Friday. I can understand if people are busy, but he still should have called to say I haven't forgotten about you, I'm still waiting on information from the technician. He did nothing. Here comes Saturday morning, after they opened, and Jeff still did not call me back. I had to call again on Saturday afternoon, only to be told by Jeff that there's nothing that they can do, about the price. I told him I want my son's truck put back together and I want it ready for pickup today... Monday, February 17th. As of this morning, Jeff STILL DIDNT CALL ME BACK! My brother-in-law took my son in to pick up his car without further incident. McGrath prides itself on its wonderful customer service, well, that wasn't the case with us! I would not recommend going there! And I certainly wouldn't recommend purchasing a vehicle from them! If I can give it zero stars I would have. More

Jeff (Mr. J) and his finance buddy Sam sabotaged my credit score by giving me a truck they could not finance me because of the high mileage on the vehicle. The J) and his finance buddy Sam sabotaged my credit score by giving me a truck they could not finance me because of the high mileage on the vehicle. They continuously ran my credit through several bureus without my legal consent and I only noticed from all the denial letters I was getting in the mail from several institutions. Ruined my credit illegally these guys will have you sign and not even be 100% on their behalf and over price you, have you spend your money on registration, insurance gates etc. They did nothing to help fix their mistake and in total signed 3 contracts that did not even match the mileage on the vehicle so they can get away with any future warranty in the truck. Do NOT DO BUSINESS WITH HONDA OF ST CHARLES THEY ARE BAD FOR BUSINESS AND WORK ILLEGALLY More
