Can't say enough about the great experience I had when I purchased two years 2 ago. Jay Brown was wonderful salesman. Service experience was great yesterday. Had starter problem that was hard to explain so purchased two years 2 ago. Jay Brown was wonderful salesman. Service experience was great yesterday. Had starter problem that was hard to explain so I took video. Serena patiently helped me transfer the video so they could look at it. She was also great about explaining what my costs might be so there was no surprise. Definitely recommend Matt Slapp. More

My new vehicle needed warranty service for water leaking into driver side cabin. I was left with wet car for 2 weeks. There was no offer to bring the car in to dry it out. When I picked up the vehicle it into driver side cabin. I was left with wet car for 2 weeks. There was no offer to bring the car in to dry it out. When I picked up the vehicle it was covered in bird poop and ground in dirt that looked like paint damage. I left the car to be cleaned. When I picked it up the next day it was still covered in bird poop and was told they parked it under a tree and birds pooped on it. This is a brand new vehicle. Why would the service department knowingly park it under a tree to be pooped on? When I got it home and began cleaning it I noticed deep gouges in my interior trim. I called the service manager and he told me he had been “more than accommodating” and that I would have to talk to the owner. This was warranty work because my vehicle came to me from the factory leaking into the cabin. “Accommodating” is not the word I would have chosen. The interior trim is a $15 part and should be replaced without me having to go through the owner. The service manager essentially told me I could be lying and he could do nothing about the damage. This was due to him having no clue how they fixed the vehicle. The leak was on the driver side and the damage was on the passenger side. Unbeknownst to him to replace the flooring the tech had to remove the passenger side trim. This opens up the passenger side to damage. I also have several “extra” parts lying about my vehicle after the repair. This is unsettling to say the least. 1. Vehicle leaked water into cabin from the factory. 2. I was left with a soaking wet interior for 2 weeks with no offer to dry it out. 3. Service department knowingly allowed birds to poop on my vehicle for a week. 4. There was initially no attempt to clean the car off and when they did clean it they left me all the bird poop to clean myself. 5. There were gouges in my interior trim left by the tech that worked on the car. 6. Nobody I have directly talked to knows what was wrong with my car or how they fixed it. It seems reasonable to me to want to know the details of a repair on a new $42k vehicle. 6. I am now having to talk to the owner of the dealership to discuss things. This isn’t a bad thing but was thrown at me by the service manager as a threat. More

Jay Brown (Matt Slap salesman) has kep in touch with me for I think a couple of years, never pushy but always listened & actually heard what I said & remembered, I finally ordered a new Outback & Jay kept for I think a couple of years, never pushy but always listened & actually heard what I said & remembered, I finally ordered a new Outback & Jay kept me informed about every step so delivery date was no surprise. Chris in finance was great & easy to work with & he presented us numerous options that could work for us. Tiffany gave the patient & kind help we needed in order to drive our new car home safely! I have even called her already for help. Jay gave us a tour of the dealership & what to expect when we service our car. We were given extra key rings, a t-shirt & encouraged to call anyone anytime with any question. Since we’ve picked up our car Jay has already called to check on how we are liking the car & if we have any questions. This is not a cliché but I am truly happy I made the choice to buy my new outback at Matt Slap Subaru, Without a doubt everyone has been terrific even before I made the purchase. Oh & one more thing... my husbands cell phone was out of charge & another kind person loaned us their charger. A super great group all around at Matt Slap!! Yes, I know I didn’t want advertising on my car but I will tell everyone about the great care & service we received at Matt Slap Subaru. Driving my new car is even better than I remembered when I drove my previous Outback. It handles very well, is a quiet smooth ride. And even though if I had the choice I would have picked a different leather color than the brown, the seats are much more comfortable than my previous leather interior & I’m really enjoying the ride!! More

The salesman, Jay Brown, at Matt Slap Subaru, did an excellent job. He did everything possible to make up for the shortage of inventory. He answered all my questions promptly and paid attention to what I was looking for in a new car. When the car I was looking for was about to be assembled, he notified me in time for me to prepare. He made himself quickly available by phone or message. The deal included a good price for trading in my old car. At the time of delivery he was right there to explain how everything works. His cheerful demeanor and helpfulness made him very pleasant to work with. More
