As a new resident in Westminster, I had not thought about finding an auto dealer/salesman until my son who is a student at University of Nevada, Las Vegas, needed a car to commute to school and work. I was a bit anxious since I had not dealt with anyone in Westminster before. However, I found the whole car buying experience at Koons Toyota to be exceptional. Ferd Maloney was an outstanding salesman--personable, knowledgeable and particularly helpful in determining the type of car that would be dependable and cost effective for a college student. I appreciated Ferd's honesty and insightful guidance throughout the purchasing process. Also, kudos to all the Koons staff and especially Jason for his assistance in obtaining financing. My son is now the proud owner of a 2009 red Toyota Corolla. Following the purchase, I drove the car to Las Vegas, it handled great and passed with flying colors a 2400 mile road trip. I have no doubts that my son will be driving this car throughout the remainder of his college career and beyond. For anyone new to the area or for the matter a long time resident and you looking for a new or used car, I highly recommend Koons Toyota. I was in an accident June 2nd and my 2004 Yukon was totaled. When I pulled into the Koon’s used car parking lot, I was in need of a vehicle ASAP. I had 3 types of vehicles in mind, and they were all co totaled. When I pulled into the Koon’s used car parking lot, I was in need of a vehicle ASAP. I had 3 types of vehicles in mind, and they were all completely different. The first was another SUV; second a Jeep Wrangler and third just going to a smaller car for good MPG because I have almost an 85 mile commute everyday for work. So the most reasonable choice was the car with the best MPG but like I said I wasn't sure. Michael Masko was and now, will always be my Car Salesman and friend. He was standing in the parking lot when I was just driving through looking at the cars and he asked if I needed any help. We walked the entire parking lot to help me decide. Michael showed me every car that had caught my eye. He was very knowledgeable of each and every one which made it much easier to narrow my search. He had a great personality and he was NOT in any way PUSHY or just trying to make a sale. I felt like Michael understood my situation and wanted to really help me find a vehicle that would be best for me. I ended up choosing the 2007 Mazda 6. Everyone I met @ Koon’s used cars was great, very friendly and personable and most important to me trustworthy. I would recommend them to everyone I know. I think purchasing a car is a big deal rather it be your first car or your tenth car. So like I said having the feeling you can trust the used car dealer is very important. Thanks so much! More

The price was very close to what we had researched, so it was a relatively easy decision to purchase the vehicle at Koons. The exact vehicle we wanted was located quickly and we were on our way in just a couple of days. Toyota had a very competitive rate to finance the vehicle which we used. Jason worked with us very carefully to get our payments where we wanted them, he was very understanding of our needs and concerns unlike other car dealers who just care about getting a sale! We are definitely going to recommend this dealership to friends, family and even strangers! Most pleasant buying experience EVER!!!! Drawn to Koon's from their local tv ads offering higher than blue book trade in. Spoke with Mr Howard and Mr Vitali on the phone after expressing concerns regarding past credit problems and they assured u than blue book trade in. Mr Howard, Mr Vitali, and Jason (bus mgr) were all excellent to deal with .. very caring and went out of their way. We were disappointed that the trade in amount was much lower than anticipated. However, Jason was able to help us purchase the vehicle in as close to our budget as possible. For which, we are very appreciative. The salesman, Craig, was very pleasant. However, once the sale was arranged, his demeanor changed drastically. We felt that we were of little importance. Before we left the lot, we discovered a nick in the windshield w/spidering cracks. He pointed out that we had not mentioned it while test driving the vehicle. (It was raining during test drive) He eventually offered to repair the nick but would have to order the kit to do so. We left with uneasy feelings. The next day we received an email from him reminding us to do this survey. We told him we would do the survey after the repairs to the windshield were made and to contact us when the kits came in. We received almost an immediate response that they had kits after all and scheduled a time for us to come in. When we visited 5/3 for the repair, we again got the feeling that we were bothering him. The repair was made, it seemed very reluctantly. The vehicle passed PA inspection yesterday, so we are completing survey as requested. More

Our Experience with Koons Toyota was excellent. Our sales person, Mary Ann McMorrow was extremely knowledgable of the models we were interested in. The Finance person, whose name I can not remember, w sales person, Mary Ann McMorrow was extremely knowledgable of the models we were interested in. The Finance person, whose name I can not remember, worked very well with us and gave us the numbers to purchase our new Prius. Even though I had to slow down the process,I was totally appreciative of the excellent customer service we received. The car was even prepped by our sales person, Mary Ann, as there was were not enough detailers that day. The comfort level my husband and I had driving the car off the lot would not have been obtainable without the detail instruction of the operation of the "bells and whistles" of the Prius. I would not hesitant to refer anyone to Mary Ann for their Toyota purchase and will definitely return to Koons for any future purchase of a car. It is not usual in these days to find the expert customer service that we received from Koons. The only negative I should mention would be the inexperience of one of the finance persons. It was apparent he was not familiar with details of the interst rates depending on how much to put down and was very confused as to what equated to 10% and 20% down. Jason, the F&I person worked very well with us. He ran all numbers my husband and I requested to see where our payments would be and recommended alternative financing terms. Even though we did not purchase the extended warranties, he reviewed them with us, in detail, and is recommendations. Koons Toyota should be very proud of the overall staff, 3 of 4, that we worked with. I would hope that Jason, Mary Ann and the Finance area are given an "employee award", if given as they definitely deserve it. More
