I will start off by saying that my experience at Rock River Kia started out great, there was no issues with this dealer in any way until it came time for the delivery of our vehicle. We dealt with Todd B River Kia started out great, there was no issues with this dealer in any way until it came time for the delivery of our vehicle. We dealt with Todd Berg, (never deal with Todd) and it was absolutely the most terrible service I’ve had. He didn’t make delivery of the vehicle as clear as he says he did, we are from out of state and he said they would drive the car to us for $1000 we thought that was great! He said it would be more for an enclosed trailer so we just chose the cheaper option assuming it was an open trailer. Well on the day of the delivery, a driver actually showed up driving the Telluride, they physically drove the car 800 miles to us, it now has rock chips and bugs splattered all over it. We have the driver wait as we call Todd Berg, once we told him the issue he was immediately defensive and started to raise his voice. He had no apologies or tried to fix the situation in any way he constantly blamed us and said it our fault. So just purely off of his attitude we decide to send the car back and not take delivery of it. Todd then calls me a scammer saying I’m trying to scam him on this sale, and calls us liars. I told him over the phone his attitude was xxxxxxxx and he said he was glad we are sending the car back because he doesn’t want our business anyways and then hung up on me. Funny thing is this guy is suppose to be a “Manager” aside from this in the very beginning, he told me I needed to sign a document agreeing to put down $1000 deposit and that it was non refundable. Which is completely fine and normal, he emailed me the document and said he will not charge my card until he gets the document back signed. After about 1-2 hours I still hadn’t had time to review the document and he proceeds to charge my card $1000 without my consent form being signed. If anyone was being scammed it was me! Last thing to note was while the driver waited on us to sort things out with Todd over the phone, the driver lays down in our front lawn like he’s going to take a nap, and when he first got out of our new Telluride he pulled out his drinks, snack wrappers and duffle bags from our car. What kind of professionalism is that? I’ve never had such a terrible interaction with a dealership let alone personally attacked and called a liar and scammer by a “Manager”. I spoke with Jason the general manager of the store and he said Todd admitted to his behavior and said he overreacted. But doesn’t sound like Todd is going to face any kind of repercussions for his actions so now I’m going to make it known. Too many people have bad experiences and don’t share them when they should. I have seen many people get bad service from a place simply because the people who had a bad experience didn’t share it. As a business owner I see this all the time, reviews are very important and help us improve. More

We were so pleased with this dealership from start to finish! Bernie DOES IT AGAIN--3rd car in 2020 and between my husband and 2 kids, we have purchased over 15 cars from Bernie over the past 18 years!!! And like always, Bernie listens and really cares. What makes this experience even more meaningful, was that Bernie contacted us about the amazing deals, and was super patient with us. Bernie and his team went WAY OVER and BEYOND AGAIN...we didn't love the color they had at RRB, so they FOUND the White Edge ST...and had it brought here to Rockford. Even though it took extra steps and time, Bernie was very kind and patient...and made sure it was PERFECT for us! He truly showed us HOW MUCH HE CARES about OUR feelings...not just to make it easy for him and his team. Rick, Jason, David and Mike were all also GREAT!!! Again, all were very patient, and made us feel comfortable with yet another 2 GREAT Edge's!!! This was a BIG step for us going from an Explorer to an Edge...and wow, we made a GREAT decision! Thanks BERNIE AGAIN for all you do for me and our family...we all feel so safe in being a 4 FORD car family!!! Having 2 black and 2 white Ford vehicles...we LOVE them all!!! Thanks for always going over and beyond for us!!! We will tell all who will listen...the ONLY sales guy is BERNIE and the only place to go is ROCK RIVER FORD/KIA!!! More

Joseph is AMAZING Had just decided it was time to hand down a car and get a new one. Went into to look, ask questions, and maybe go for a test drive. Couldn't believe the salesman Joseph's knowledge, expertise, friendliness, competence and most importantly, attention to detail. Never had to re-ask a question and every question was explained fully. I don't think Joseph ever gave me a one word answer, which frankly I expected. Can't heap enough praise! More
