We just bought a new a Sienna from Lithia Toyota of Redding and it was by far, the best experience we've ever had buying a vehicle. The staff was friendly, professional and very efficient. They didn't Redding and it was by far, the best experience we've ever had buying a vehicle. The staff was friendly, professional and very efficient. They didn't put any pressure on us and they didn't play the games that are all too common at some dealerships. They found the car we wanted and without any haggling, gave a price that was fair to everyone. Their price was thousands less than the ridiculous markups that Roseville Toyota wanted for the same car. Charles Rueber was our salesman, Mike Hageman handled financing, and Jason Beeman is the Sales Manager. If I ever buy another Toyota, I'll be coming to this team to get it. If you're looking to buy a Toyota, do yourself a favor and go to Redding Lithia and ask for these gentlemen. More

Bought a certified pre-owned Lexus from the dealership. 3 days later I found out that they had covered up body damage. I contacted the sales manager Jason Beeman. He was incredibly defensive and insulting 3 days later I found out that they had covered up body damage. I contacted the sales manager Jason Beeman. He was incredibly defensive and insulting by the end of the conversation after I asked him to please speak to me with respect he told me I could come down there and talk to him face to face insinuating a physical confrontation. I have never and all of my life experienced anybody management or not with this type of disposition. The issue I was told will not be resolved by the dealership so I was forced to contact a dealership fraud attorney. Worst experience I've ever had. More

Steve Anderson is Awesome. He was interested in what I was looking for and wanted. It's sad to say but that's where where I purchased my car from 2 years ago I just wish that I bought my car here from Lithia Toyota with a great staff and employees And most of all a lifetime service of rotated tires and oil change along with fluids. This newly remodeled dealership and service center is quick to sell you a car with service agreement. However service center quite possibly worst ever. Service center has gone through multiple managers , quick to sell you a car with service agreement. However service center quite possibly worst ever. Service center has gone through multiple managers , customer service reps will lie repeatedly about times and service done, try and be your best buddy and “hook you up” . technicians are incompetent and don’t care about their work. On the outside they look like a professional dealership but fail over and over again with their customers. You would think having purchased a vehicle from them they would try and take care of you!? Not here you are a low number at best. They advertise customer service is priority while lying and smiling right to your face. I wish this was isolated incident but from the first time I brought car in they lie. Im stuck with overpriced service agreement and forced to get my Maintenance there. 8 years and 225000 miles later still can’t get it right. I’ve even started going elsewhere and paying for service I’ve already paid for just to get job done correctly. Do yourself a favor run away as fast as possible. On February 22, 2022 at 3:45pm I took my brand new 2021 Toyota Highlander to get its first 5,000 miles oil change and tire rotation. Within 36 minutes the task was completed. As soon as I arrived home I no Toyota Highlander to get its first 5,000 miles oil change and tire rotation. Within 36 minutes the task was completed. As soon as I arrived home I noticed these lights were turned on: check engine light, low engine oil pressure, low engine oil, and secondary collision brake system. I called Lithia Toyota of Redding with my concerns and they advise me to drive the vehicle back to the dealership, about a 15 minute drive back. Upon arrival, I notified one of the mechanics who looked under the vehicle and noticed oil was dumping from underneath. He proceeds to get in the vehicle and drives it into their shop onto the lift. After they inspected the vehicle they realized that during the oil change they forgot to remove the old oil gasket and they put a new one on top of it, which has caused the issues listed above. Lithia notifies me that they would like to keep the vehicle overnight to inspect the vehicle. The next day February 23, 2022, I went to pick up my vehicle at 9am. Upon arrival Robert wanted me to sign the work order that I was picking up the vehicle because of an engine light was on. None of the above was documented. After spending about two hours talking with Dave the general manger, Robert the service advisor, and Susan the customer affairs they said they would give me documentation. Which this never happened. Until I had my mom (who’s Caucasian) come in and within 10 minutes I finally got the documentation. Why was it so difficult for an Asian American widow/single mother to get this documentation? I did request for an oil analyst, but I’m assuming this request was denied since it has been a month since the incident and no one has contacted me back regarding this. They did not care of my concerns that with the low engine oil pressure light on and driving with it on there is a high possibility that this undermined the life of my brand new Toyota Highlander. Lithia also did not clean the vehicle from the oil dumping underneath. I want the peace of mind that my new vehicle that I put my savings on would last, thus the reason why I requested for the oil analyst. Bottom line: Lithia Toyota of Redding does not care for its community and an Asian American windowed single mother. It’s appalling that Toyota Corporation supports Lithia on how they handled the situation. More

Bait and Switch I initially started this via the Costco Auto program, yet I was told one price via email then go in to find out that one; the car was already sold, an I initially started this via the Costco Auto program, yet I was told one price via email then go in to find out that one; the car was already sold, and two; the price was way off from what was emailed. After negotiations, which I felt was the worst experience I’ve had with a car purchase, they still had me over $1,000 above what was told to me originally. They then stated that they would have the car transferred from another dealership. Car arrives, so I showed up with the expectation to pick up the vehicle, however..... Different interior color then what was ever discussed. The salesman then said "Want some seat covers?" No! I want the interior color I chose not whatever you got, obviously not making sure of any of this was correct before transporting the vehicle. Then they asked, "would $500 off make you take it?" No! Again, I want what was originally agreed upon. Then was told they would call me the next day with a confirmation if they were able to “secure” the correct vehicle with the correct interior color from another dealership. Then another day goes and the car with the correct interior arrives, at 6:15pm. I arrive with a text from the salesman, "do you work all day tomorrow?" like I should just come back tomorrow. Then I was told, "will have to try and squeeze you in as best we can," to do the paperwork since this is a new car, new paperwork. I mentioned the prior statement of taking an additional $500 off the correct car and was told no. Despite to say this was the worst experience with buying a car. I did finally get the car I originally wanted but I feel like after all this I ended up paying more then I really wanted and especially more then what I was told prior to even test driving the car. I do love the car, but getting it was just the most stressful and horrible experience I’ve ever had with a car purchase. More
