Not happy with surcharge for credit cards. I run a business, taking cards is part of running a business. Charging customers for using cards is cheesy and not right. Especially since you do not have signs saying that when you check in. The amount of sales you can lose due to upsetting customers with charges will out pace the fees the card companies charge. I have been in business for 50 years and having the convenience of credit cards increased sales without costing the consumer more. My rates stand at under 2% for the volume we do. Charging 3% just pockets more money into your account. More
