I purchased a 2013 Jetta TDI Diesel from Shawn Baron. I have all the routine service work done for the first 70,000 miles. That included the DSG transmission service at 40,000 miles. I knew there was some have all the routine service work done for the first 70,000 miles. That included the DSG transmission service at 40,000 miles. I knew there was something wrong with the car because my mpg went way down. I just couldn’t put my finger on it. At 80,000 I decided to do the DSG Transmission myself. The capacity should be 4 1/2 quarts of fluid. I had a friend with me when I drained The DSG transmission. I got 9 quarts out of it!!!! They probably never drained the original transmission fluid and added another 4 1/2 quarts. after I did my own service the car started driving well again and my fuel economy went back up. I was surprised that they did not blow my transmission due to their negligence! I called the service manager Melvin Ramos and asked who was the xxxxxx who put 9 quarts of transmission fluid in my car? He said he would follow up and get back to me. He never did The next time I came back to the service department for warranty work I produced the 5 gallon bucket with a 9 quarts of transmission fluid in it. The new xxxxxxx in the service department tried to suggest that I could’ve just put any oil in that bucket!!!! I told him that I had notified Melville Ramos at the time. And that he was supposed to follow up and did not. So this xxxxxxx basically accused me of trying to perpetrate a fraud! I am mediately asked to speak to the general manager four times that day. They made excuses and said he wasn’t available. This is a den of vipers and they should never be trusted by anyone! they are absolute low class people. More

Absolutely First Class I have been dealing with Volkswagen of Huntington since 2011. This is when I purchased my first Volkswagen , a 2011 Touareg. Since then my family and I have been dealing with Volkswagen of Huntington since 2011. This is when I purchased my first Volkswagen , a 2011 Touareg. Since then my family and I have purchased 5 more vehicles from them. The service is OUTSTANDING !!!. Prices compare to other dealers on Long Island much ,much better. My family and I are always welcomed and everyone is always so kind. The salesperson that I have mainly worked with is Shawn( now manager) He is fantastic. He will always go above and beyond to make the customer happy.John, General Manager makes sure customer lives his office happy. He has always taken care of my family and me, not just with car purchases but service and anything else that we may need. Finally, when I come for service James and Robert provide quick , professional repairs and advice THANKS GUYS !! I will buy another vehicle from this dealer . More

the very model of rude service Brought non vw in for a second oil change. Anthony Piccolo, who id met before, appeared distracted. Sudenly the head of service, Edward J Merman, bursts in unannounced, accusing me of trying to take advantage of their vw vehicle special rate of 19.95, which I denied. VW oil is of the highest quality, so I wanted it for my BMW. Its that good. Later, I asked Mr. Merman what his problem was and we both had at it. I have now been effectively banned from this dealership, which I now consider a favor. That 19.95 oil change is just the lead in to much higher service costs. Im glad to be rid of this dealer. I also own a new Jetta, not bought here, but in the Carolinas. Prices there are much cheaper and I will find Long Island service although this is an expensive proposition. IMO, Huntington VW is very much in the tradition of Major and Siluppi. Buyer beware! More
