Terrible service experience. If you purchase a used car from this dealer. Just take it somewhere else for service. Purchased used Chevy in Dec/2024. 6 months in check engine ligh If you purchase a used car from this dealer. Just take it somewhere else for service. Purchased used Chevy in Dec/2024. 6 months in check engine light comes on. I already knew what it was from reading the ODB code. Take it in to be fixed, they proceed to “fix” or claim to “fix” something and charge me $700. Less than 24 hours and the check engine light comes back on. Take it back, they acknowledge I was just there, but after 8 hours of diagnostics, tell me more sensors and things need fixing, including what the ODB reader told me in the beginning. AND now tried to charge me approximately $1500 for more repairs. In the middle of the conversation “Caleb” tells me “This is a Chevy, we sell Kia’s” so I should understand.. this is where they lost my business. More

My engine light came on and I took my car in for service and paid almost $200. The check engine light never went off, and I took it in days later. (I was on hold for over 15 minutes when I called.). Katie s and paid almost $200. The check engine light never went off, and I took it in days later. (I was on hold for over 15 minutes when I called.). Katie said it would be over $189 just to check it. When I asked, why didn’t they check it in when I took it in the first place she said that the technicians were probably not very experienced, “they’re just eighteen years old and just do oil changes”. I stated that I paid for more than an oil change which included inspections of my car. She replied., “ well they have to start somewhere” which seemed random and a bit disrespectful and then charge me almost $200 just for them to check it. I’ve been taking my car to Russ Darrow Kia in Waukesha for many years. The quality of service isn’t what it used to be and I’m not sure if I want to put the health of my car in the hands of this business anymore. I think I’ll need to look elsewhere. More
