I referred a friend to Sun Toyota to purchase a vehicle after he lost his car during Hurricane Milton. At the time, Sun Toyota was offering incentives for those impacted by the hurricane, as well as a $300 after he lost his car during Hurricane Milton. At the time, Sun Toyota was offering incentives for those impacted by the hurricane, as well as a $300 referral bonus for sending a friend. My friend made the purchase, and the salesman assured me that the referral bonus would be sent within 3–6 weeks. While the timeframe seemed unusual, I trusted their word and waited. It has now been over 7 weeks, and I have yet to receive the referral bonus I was promised. Despite multiple follow-ups, the salesman has failed to follow through, and when I contact the dealership directly, I’m met with excuses and redirected back to the unresponsive salesman. I even reached out to the manager via email, but my message went unanswered. I’ve attached proof of the signed referral bonus agreement and text correspondence with the salesman. This experience has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. If you’re considering referring someone to Sun Toyota, proceed with caution—they may not honor their commitments. More

This is by far the worst experience I have ever had. At the time of purchase, I was told the car would be much less than it really was, to “gain our business” they said they’d give me new floor mats at At the time of purchase, I was told the car would be much less than it really was, to “gain our business” they said they’d give me new floor mats at no cost and replace a missing piece of the inside passenger door, again at no cost! For over a month I spoke with my sales person multiple times per week and was assured it was either in the process of being ordered or was already ordered. I finally was able to speak to someone else and was told nothing was ordered and they don’t know what I’m talking about. Multiple times I called for a manager and no one called back. I finally got ahold of two different managers who apologized and said they took care of it and it was ordered that day. Both times I called back to check on a status update and again was told they didn’t know what I was talking about and nothing was ordered. Currently waiting for ANOTHER manager to call me back, which I’m sure the pattern will continue and they won’t. Incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE. More

Poor lack of communication and follow-up. I went in for a test drive and was supposed to receive a gift card in exchange.
