I’m from out of town, and was visiting for my family’s celebration of life for my mom who passed suddenly in April. The service team helped get my mom’s car up and running again and made sure it’s working celebration of life for my mom who passed suddenly in April. The service team helped get my mom’s car up and running again and made sure it’s working well and safe to drive before I take over ownership. I appreciate the warmth, empathy, and customer service I received from Jack and everyone else I encountered at South Bay Hyundai. Being put in a shuttle back to my sister’s home was an especially nice touch that I was not expecting. It was great to get back home easily so that I could focus on spending time with family. More

I was passing through SoCal on a road trip and it was time to service my Hyundai. I stopped in late in the day and Jack made an appointment for next morning. Work was done quickly. No communication. I was supposed to get a paint job done and covered by Hyundai as well full replacement of my Cadillac converter covered by Hyundai as well due to f I was supposed to get a paint job done and covered by Hyundai as well full replacement of my Cadillac converter covered by Hyundai as well due to faulty parts. Calling the service department multiple times of schedule the paint job when I was told they would call me on a Monday. Didn’t hear back from then until Wednesday. When calling the service department apparently the only people who was aloud to speak to me was the original person who checked me in and completed my service. So everytime I called service to ask questions they always had to go and find my original technician putting me on hold for 30 mins at a time. I was told my car would be done on a Friday for the converter repair and no one called me to let me know it was either done or not. Someone finally called on a Monday asking me when I was going to pick up my car and I explained no one called to let me know it was done. Overall they just need to communicate with the customer. I shouldn’t have to be tracking down the service technician for everything and constant checking on progress of parts and services. More

There was not one single follow-up call the entire month. You had my car from Jack. The only time I ever received a call from him was when he was returning my call. He told me it would take a week and a half You had my car from Jack. The only time I ever received a call from him was when he was returning my call. He told me it would take a week and a half to get my car back and it took a month. The day The car was done. He told me I could pick it up after 10 AM and it would be washed and cleaned and ready to go. I showed up at noon and the car had not been cleaned or washed. Extremely disappointed. All of this occurred after the magically disappeared from my car and Ruined my Engine. I had been changing my oil every 3000 miles as directed by Hyundai, And it only changed my Oil at Hyundai dealerships. There was no explanation as to how this could’ve occurred. Luckily, my car was still under warranty. I will never buy another Hyundai again. this is the second time I’ve had a mechanical failure from Hyundai, regardless of my pristine routine maintenance More
