After years of recommendations from friends, I finally made my first Mazda purchase (Oct 2022) and it was a great experience! (I keep my new vehicle purchases for several years - typically 12-15 years!) made my first Mazda purchase (Oct 2022) and it was a great experience! They all seemed to have my personal satisfaction as their top priority. I left with my new vehicle very satisfied. So far, the vehicle is great and love the ride! More

Dealership only cares about reviews. If you write an unfavorable review, they will not sell you a car. I came in ready to buy, approval in hand and the manager only offered 3000 for a vehicle that was appraised well over 8000. He stated the transmission sounded weird which made no sense. It was a terrible experience especially since the same vehicle I want is still listed. Updated review…….. I had an absolutely terrible experience with Mazda of Orland Park. In March 2021, I went with my father and the owner of the dealership provided a very horrible experience in which I decided to detail in a google review. Fast forward to November, my father and I decided to try the dealership again. We had new circumstances and went through the process fairly quickly and fairly well with the finance manager, however once the documents were signed the vehicle was ready to be driven off the lot as my own, the finance manager comes in with a printout of my review to say do I remember writing the review, why would I come back if I had a bad experience, and if I’m going to change the tune of my review. At this point I’m confused because all of my paper work is done and now I’m being chastised about a review of my experience. The finance manager which was the only woman in the office, said please just say sorry, he’s mad. He wants you to apologize and say you are not going to write another review. We don’t sell cars to unhappy people. At that point, John who says he owns the dealership, stated he took the review personally because he has children. Again saying he understands why my review was written but he doesn’t agree that I wrote the review. After 30 minutes of going back and forth the manager finally just I want you to say you’re not going to write another review and let’s leave as friends. As a consumer, at this point I’m floored. Im embarrassed and upset because I’m feeling like I’m begging for a vehicle I have already outright purchased. John want to shake my hand and at which point I decline politely and said I rather not at this time because naturally you again have ruined my experience. Then he says forget it you can’t have the car. You’re not happy. At this point my father and I are floored. The purchase was complete. I’m only grateful that I did not allow them to run my credit again because I walked in with my own pre-approval. This was the most embarrassing, horrible experience car shopping. Again as a consumer if someone tries your establishment after a bad experience, you should thank them and try to better their experience. This dealership just doesn’t have any class, any respect, and seemingly from their reviews on google this is the new approach they take with their customers who they claim to treat like family. -- More

DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE I recently purchased a 2017 Mazda3 from the CJ Wilson’s in Orland Park and wanted to write a review to help out future buyers. I went to multiple dea I recently purchased a 2017 Mazda3 from the CJ Wilson’s in Orland Park and wanted to write a review to help out future buyers. I went to multiple dealerships in the Chicagoland area looking for a specific color, model, and make. Out of every dealership, the ONLY reason I went with CJ Mazda was because they had the exact car I wanted. To begin, I called on the morning of a showing to see if the car was still available after seeing it online. I was told the car I had wanted was there and that I was scheduled for a showing later that night. When I arrived at the dealership, the person I scheduled the showing with wasn’t there and neither was the car I wanted to see. After a few hours of questions and similar car test drives, I signed the papers to purchase the new car. While negotiating prices and deals with Jack like any normal car buyer would, he told my parents “this isn’t a charity” when we tried to make a deal on the navigation being discounted. Jack was very rude and disrespectful during the whole process, not only to me but to my parents was well. They then told me the car would not be in until tomorrow morning and I could come pick it up before work, but as for the night I wouldn’t have a car. They then proceeded to tell me I could have a rental car for the night, and that quickly got withdrawn after they found I wasn’t 21 and no other compensation was offered. Luckily, my parents drove me to the dealership and could bring me the next day to pick up the car. The next day came, and I never received a phone call telling me my car was in so by lunch time, I had to call the dealership myself. Jack, one of the managers (you’ll know him by his lack of professional attire), told me that the car wouldn’t be ready until after I started work and I would need to come in the second day after purchase to pick up my new car. The next day, I called and told them I would be at the dealership at 1 to sign papers for my new car. When I arrived at the dealership, my plates were not on the car, the car wasn’t wash, my GPS chip wasn’t in the car, and none of the papers were ready to go. After three hours of waiting to sign my papers and the “final touches” for my car, I was late to work but finally had my new car. After coming home from work, my low tire pressure light came and this clearly meant they had not checked the tire pressures before handing over the car. Overall, the whole experience was tiring, unprofessional, rude, and long. Clearly, CJ Wilson did not care about me as a customer, but only cared about the sale and money they were getting. I will never buy another car from this dealership. More

Great Experience I was a first time new car buyer and had a great experience working with Brandon, Jack, and Justin. Brandon took the time to listen to what I wanted I was a first time new car buyer and had a great experience working with Brandon, Jack, and Justin. Brandon took the time to listen to what I wanted and did a great job explaining everything about the car I was looking to purchase. Negotiation process was hassle free; I got a better offer here than any other dealership. Also, appreciated Brandon taking the time to introduce me to the service and parts managers at CJ Wilson Mazda. Justin was a extremely helpful and informative when getting all of my financing and title/registration set-up. Jack, sales manager, introduced himself and stopped by from time to time to see how I was doing; never had that happen at other dealerships I visited. Overall, I had a great experience and received the best deal I could find comparable to other dealers. I am very thankful for the friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable staff at CJ Wilson Mazda.
