Title: Over a Year of Problems — Management Promises to Help but Never Follows Through I purchased a 2018 Ram 1500 from Rapids Honda on September 12, 2025. I was told the vehicle had been inspected and Help but Never Follows Through I purchased a 2018 Ram 1500 from Rapids Honda on September 12, 2025. I was told the vehicle had been inspected and had no issues. Unfortunately, my experience after the sale has been completely different. Shortly after purchasing the truck, I began experiencing electrical problems, radio and backup camera malfunctions, brake concerns, and performance issues. I repeatedly contacted Rapids Honda and gave them opportunities to address my concerns. After months of frustration, I had the truck inspected at Coon Rapids Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. The service estimate came to approximately $6,000 in recommended repairs, with additional quotes of more than $1,600 for spark plugs, gaskets, and a battery that I was told wouldn’t be covered by my warranty. But here’s what really disappoints me. Rapids Honda publicly responded to my Google review, stating they were willing to speak directly and find a resolution. I also communicated with Roy, who indicated he would review my file. On October 7, 2026, a representative named Kendal Carol specifically promised that ownership or upper management would contact me directly. I followed up October 8, October 9, and multiple times afterward. Nobody with the promised authority contacted me. Then, after all those messages, I received a generic sales response asking what vehicle I was interested in purchasing. I’m not looking to buy another vehicle. I’m trying to get help with the one they already sold me. I’ve even requested a copy of my purchase agreement and left a voicemail, but still haven’t received the document. I’ve filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau and Minnesota Attorney General’s Office. I also have screenshots, inspection records, and repair estimates documenting my experience. I understand used vehicles can develop problems. But when a customer spends over a year trying to address concerns, the least a dealership can do is follow through on its promises. I’m still asking Rapids Honda for a fair resolution. I’m not asking for special treatment. I’m asking for accountability. To ownership and upper management: Your dealership publicly offered to work toward a resolution and your representative promised I would receive a call. Why am I still waiting? I hope this review finally reaches someone willing to take responsibility for reviewing my concerns and discussing an actual solution. Until that happens, I cannot recommend this dealership based on my experience. More

Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. This dealership is extremely misleading and will cost you way more than you expect. They present add-ons like they’re part of a “package,” but alm This dealership is extremely misleading and will cost you way more than you expect. They present add-ons like they’re part of a “package,” but almost everything is actually itemized separately, and WILDLY overpriced ($1100 for Honda car mats!!!!). You don’t realize how bad it is until it’s too late and your total shoots up. My sales rep, Aida Lane, completely downplayed the impact these add-ons would have on my monthly payment. She made it seem like it was barely a difference. It wasn’t. Not even close. I made my entire financial decision based on what I was told, and it turned out to be completely misleading. Then comes Isaiah Davis, finance manager, who flat out refused to let me cancel anything. No valuable explanation. When I asked for proof, he sent documents that didn’t even have my signature on them. So somehow I’m locked into products I didn’t clearly agree to? Make that make sense. And no where did it show they weren’t cancellable. I don’t get why he won’t just let me get rid of them!!! It gets worse. Auto Butler, LoJack, and Diamond Fusion were already installed on the car BEFORE I bought it. I was told “all cars have it now,” yet I was still charged for them. Apparently some people “negotiate it off”…funny, because no one told me that was even an option. I was led to believe everything was part of one package, which it wasn’t. And despite being third-party contracts, I was told otherwise until the paperwork said the opposite. Isaiah said they weren’t third-party but literally sent the document that proves it was. Yet I STILL can’t cancel it???! Trying to get answers after the sale? Good luck. Basic documentation and clear explanations were like pulling teeth. Things were glossed over, rushed, or just not explained at all. I even reached out to the GM, Katie Young, and got nothing helpful. just a generic response pushing me right back to the same people who caused the problem. Contacted Honda corporate too, and surprise: this dealership is privately owned, so there’s basically no accountability. End of the day, I’m stuck with a high monthly payment on a car that’s not even brand new, all because of how this was handled. This wasn’t just a bad experience: it felt calculated. Be careful. Read EVERYTHING. And honestly? Just don’t come here. It’s been so stressful and extremely disappointing. Buying a car is supposed to feel like an achievement, yet it feels like a huge defeat. More
