BEWARE! !!!! I purchased a used 2019 certified GLE from this dealership in September 2023. Yesterday I took it to have it appraised and found out this car had !!!! I purchased a used 2019 certified GLE from this dealership in September 2023. Yesterday I took it to have it appraised and found out this car had "moderate damage" to the entire side of the vehicle. The entire side had been repainted. There is NO WAY that a 161-point inspection would have missed this. Not to mention that it was easily pulled up by Carmax when I had it appraised. The carfax I was provided indicated NO PREVIOUS ACCIDENTS or DAMAGE. I was told this lowered the value of the vehicle by $4k. Now this is a vehicle that I paid $62k. I called and left a message with the sales manager. No response. I am so frustrated as I never would have paid market value for a car that had been wrecked or had previous damage. Please do not use this dealership. Yes Virginia is a "buyer beware" state but I NEVER expected the dishonesty and shady deal from a Mercedes dealership. Never again. Unsure if salesperson was aware therefore I gave him 3 stars. Update: Received a call from the general manager after these reviews started being posted and he offered to buy the car back for a measley $1k more than the appraisal.....AND denied ANY knowledge of moderate collision damage occurring to the car indicating it wasn't on the Carfax. So this car was certified and had the Mercedes inspection and they didn't know? What an insult to my intelligence. I think that alone speaks volumes about this dealership. Either they are dishonest or they aren't inspecting the cars as thoroughly as reported. The manager threatened me and said the review is slander (a legal term). By the way, Carmax guy told me there is no way they didn't know the car had been damaged and repainted. BUYER TRULY BEWARE. VA dealers don't have to tell you if a car has been wrecked. And this dealership didn't tell me. More
