I've constantly been back and forth to sport's durst trying to get them to return my vehicle back, but I keep getting the run around about it! Why does sport's durst advertise that the Customer COMES FIRST? Yet, it's been 9 months since I purchased my vehicle and I'm still paying $800/month for a vehicle they've had every since the day I purchased it? This has been the worst car buying experience I've ever had! More

Great experience; highly recommended; Ricky is the best My wife and I had been shopping around for a new car for a while, and after narrowing down potential cars, we started visiting dealerships. At Sport D My wife and I had been shopping around for a new car for a while, and after narrowing down potential cars, we started visiting dealerships. At Sport Durst, we had the great pleasure of working with Ricky Copelin. Ricky is one of the best, if not THE best, sales men we have ever dealt with. He took the time to listen to what we were looking for in a car, but also to get to know us personally to get an even better idea of what it really is we are looking. After an informative conversation, we determined that the 2015 Hyundai Elantra would be the perfect car for us. Ricky offered to have me test-drive the car (my wife wasn't with me during the first visit), and during this drive he pointed out the many features of the car--it was clear that he is very knowledgable, and his knowledge paired with his great personality made for a wonderful experience. After the test drive I expected the "business sharking" to begin, since I knew from previous car buying experiences that sales people want to get you to sign right away, and ideally on a car that has way more features than one needs. Not with Ricky. He showed once again that he actually listened to me, and drew up an offer that reflected our wishes and financial budget. Since my wife was out of town, he offered to have us back, so she can test drive the car, too. Between the first and the second visit, he only called me once to briefly follow up, which I found very pleasant, since I did not feel pressured at all. During our second visit, we decided to buy the car, and Ricky was great in getting all the paper work drawn up, again without trying to up-sell us. When "handing over" the car to us, he walked us again through all the features, and explained all the handbooks to us. What I found very impressive was the fact that he actually focused on safety features a lot; he clearly cares about the well-being of his customers. He also offered to call him, whenever we have a problem, and need anything--and we will certainly do that, since we feel like we are in great hands with Ricky. I could go on and on in my praise, but to make a long story short: Ricky Copelin is a fantastic sales man and a wonderful person. I would (and already have) recommend him to all of my friends, and we will certainly be back at Sport Durst for any future car needs. I should mention that we also briefly dealt with Luke Norman and Imran Afzal. Both of them were really great, too! Thank you for much, Ricky, Luke, and Afzal. You made the often painful process of shopping for a new car very pleasant!! More

First purchase from Sport Durst of Durham We worked with sales lady Katrina Stanley, and all I can say about Katrina is awesome. Sport Durst just friendly advice keep her for the long run. She is awesome and trully a benefit to your organization. She friendly, approachable, knowledgable and respectful, Shes good at what she does. I am sure all of your sales people are awesome at what they do, but I will say this Katrina besides numbers that work for us she sold that car and I don't think we could have worked with a better sales person, and it was faith we ended up working with Katrina. When we first arrived at Sports Durst we actually walked the whole used lot before we were acknowleged by Katrina. Which she was in the process of working with another customer but asked us were we being helped. With that being said. There were two male sales man that were standing outside smoking the entire time we walked the lot. Neither of them approached us to ask did we need assistance, not until Katrina asked. And as I stated earlier she was already assisting another customer running back and forth from one dealership to the other. There were no bad experiences during the entire time we worked with Katrina, but once the salesman approached us after the fact when Katrina approached us. As customers we felt disrespected and felt we were being profiled because of a certain look which we are African American. Because we noticed not long after, a white couple came on the lot and was approached instantly by one of the same gentleman that offered us no assitance when they saw us walking on the lot. My feeling as a customer and because of the experience with Katrina Stanley, I would refer family and friends to Sports Durst, but as they say that first impression is a lasting one, and I would have to tell them about that particular experience. Overall I'm loving my car and the experience with Katrina Stanley and everyone else who worked with me and my husband indiviually to make this deal possible. Even some of those we didn't work with who saw us in passing was friendly with smiles on their faces. More
