My name is Herman Jackson. I began my journey in the automotive industry in early 2014, right after working as an Insurance Broker with multiple companys for over a decade. The past few years have been very exciting, challenging, and rewarding! I came to this location on Saturday 10/12/2024 in the morning very excited and happy to purchase a "New CAR" for the first time. Before I came, I researched and found only 3, 2025 Envista Buick Avenir ca morning very excited and happy to purchase a "New CAR" for the first time. Before I came, I researched and found only 3, 2025 Envista Buick Avenir cars in the DFW area, one in McKinney (White) and two in Plano (Black on Black) which was "MORE in PRICE" and (Black with cream seats) which was "LESS in PRICE". I went to the Plano location because it was closer and there was only "ONE" Black on Black fully loaded Stock#SB069197 that I really like. My Sales Res. Kevin Jorgensen started off great but ended in a "BIG Dirty Deal". I explained I had my own finances thru a credit union and that I just needed to pick a car, which would have been the 2025 Buick Envista Anenir Stock#SB069197 fully loaded Black on Black. After the test drive, he asked could he try to get a better rate thru them. I said, no.. the credit union has been good to me so I would like too stay with them. Once we got back to his desk I called the credit union "Bank Expert" in that department. The expert informed me, What to Say, Do and Not to Do. The expert then suggested to give him the e-mail address for all paperwork to be sent over. The buyer's order was requested, which he emailed the incorrect paperwork at first, then the expert requested for the correct Buyer's Order. He sent it. The expert stated, have him place your name, phone number and address on the Buyer's order. While I'm on the phone with the expert, he asked "What is your "Interest Rate"? I stated his request to the expert, The expert stated, your financed already, he doesn't need it, unless you want to give it to him. No, I said. The expert asked for the certificate of guarantee to be e-mailed over. Instead of it being emailed the first time, he placed it in front of me, which I had "NO" knowledge of what I was looking at. I stated to the expert that there was paperwork in front of me and should I sign it, The expert said, "NO" and please have him to e-mail it to me. Once the expert completed all the paperwork, Kevin asked, Are they going to wire the funds? The expert stated, the credit union don't wire but they can give a check and another way, which I forgot. Kevin then looked up the closes location, which was in Lewisville (12min) away and gave it to me and so did the expert. Everything was done and the expert stated you can go get the check. I hung up the phone with the expert and was going to show my godmother and her friend the car on the way out the door but it wasn't there, so I asked for it to be brought up so they can see it. While we were waiting, Kevin came up to me stating, Do you want to put a down payment, just in case someone else want to buy it. I look at him confused and said "NO". We got in the car and drove off the lot, and turn right out of the lot, and drove maybe a minute down the road and he called, I answered and he said "THE CAR IS SOLD", I said, I'm coming back. I was devistated, hurt, upset, confused, and didn't understand what just happen. I came inside and he was no where in sight, So I asked for the manager "Vonnie Mayberry", the Salesman standing by "Herman Jackson" stated to me "what is it regarding. I said I would like to see him. So, Mr. Vonnie Mayberry came out, I explaind just a bit of my situation and he tells me, as if he knew already, that the car was sold in 7 minutes. I said How? I just left. He stated someone finance thru them, I didn't really understand everything. The never offered me the other car(Black w/cream seats), a different car or a different year. I left empty handed and unhappy and will never visit or reccommend this location again. Sunday morning 10/13/2024, I visited the website checking to see if the car was available, Well, it was,the Stock# SB069197 but at a "REDUCE PRICE" for $1,000 or more. I..was.. SHOCK. That night I check again and it was gone but the "Price" I was going to pay for the (Black and Black) was placed on the (Black w/cream seats) for less amount. Just disappointing. More
