I would rate this place a zero star if I could. The experience I have had has been a nightmare. I brought my vehicle to Sands Chevrolet Surprise after a young kid backed up info my vehicle and broke my experience I have had has been a nightmare. I brought my vehicle to Sands Chevrolet Surprise after a young kid backed up info my vehicle and broke my grill and dislodged my bumper. I thought bringing my car to a dealership for auto body repair was the best choice since I purchased my car from their lot. They replaced the grill and called to tell me my car was ready. After arriving home my husband asked if they did a walk through with me which they didn’t and he noticed they replaced my grill with another broken grill that was in worse shape than how I brought my vehicle to them. And to top it off my bumper was not fixed- the one side is still dislodged. I called back Monday and Jim I believe his name was played dumb that he remembered my car and he had 3 ppl look at it and he was sorry it was missed. When I brought up the bumper he said that sometimes it won’t go back flush as it may be out of line. I told him that was unacceptable as my car was in mint shape before the incident. He said they’d look at it. Then a day goes by and I start getting an error message- stabiliteck. Google references that it is related to the steering column so I made sure they were aware of that as well as the error never popped up before they touched my car in first place. Fast forward to dropping car off- they advised the rental would be on site- the lady who called to made appointment assured me it was and that all my notes were there. Upon arriving my notes were not in the system to check bumper and error and the rental was not on site so I had to leave and come back due to their horrible communication. Angie calls me 12 hours later and says my car is good to go and grill is replaced. I asked about error and bumper and she said it wasn’t in her system to check and she’d look into that and follow up. Today she calls me to tell me the error message is showing a low voltage battery and it needs to be replaced. So we call back and ask about code and online showing nothing about a battery and the screen in dash never showing low battery and my husband asks what happens if this comes back on- Henry assured my husband it wouldn’t. They want to charge me $140 for a diagnostic test without telling me upfront that charge would be there and they want to tell me they have to make sure labor is paid when I had to go back due to them messing up and providing half xxx quality the first time I trusted them with my car. We told them we didn’t agree with the charge and we had to bring car back to them due to mistakes and if I was told up front about a diagnosis fee- I would have taken my car elsewhere. I am beyond livid with the experience and the customer service I have received from a dealership that strives on quality. Like I said- I’d rate this zero stars if I could. More

Thomas Hughes was absolutely amazing I traded in a 2012 Malibu for a 2020 Trax. I was so scared that I was going to be upside down and was going to be stuck with a payment I couldn't afford. Thomas was ver Malibu for a 2020 Trax. I was so scared that I was going to be upside down and was going to be stuck with a payment I couldn't afford. Thomas was very thorough on making sure I had the best company to finance with so it wouldn't hurt the bank and I wouldn't be upside down. He went above and beyond as a sales man he did not pressure me he answered all my questions and I got an amazing deal that I could afford and I'm not upside down. I would ONLY recommend seeing Thomas Hughes for your car purchases. He works for you! I also had to go back recently for the chevy sticker making rust on my trunk. I worked with Henry Smith he was so pleasant he was very communicative and didn't rush me and was making sure I was comfortable on my visit. I would recommend seeing ONLY these people to work with your needs More

Worst. Experience. Ever. Bought new 2020 Traverse. It had a few factory defects in the paint that was on the “we owe” to fix. After 2.5 weeks of following up with them, I fina Bought new 2020 Traverse. It had a few factory defects in the paint that was on the “we owe” to fix. After 2.5 weeks of following up with them, I finally got it in to the shop. It’s been over a month and we still don’t have our new car back yet!!!! They said it was ready, we went there to pick it up, it looked worse than before. Their Glendale collision shop did a horrible job and I cannot believe they were going to give me the car back to me like that. I’ve had 5 different managers apologize, say they will follow up, call me on this day, send me emails. Nothing! Going directly to GM to try and find answers. More

Horrible money hungry I unfortunately bought two vehicles from sands. My Malibu has needed two alignments in less than a year with less than 17000 miles. I have owned man I unfortunately bought two vehicles from sands. My Malibu has needed two alignments in less than a year with less than 17000 miles. I have owned many vehicles and never needed alignments. In addition there sales tactics are pushy and they lie quite often to get you in the door then they say my bad and don’t honor the deal. More

Disappointed We had a Special Service for a fuel vapor. The initial service tech was awful. Of course their tests didn't show any evidence of gas odor, and was We had a Special Service for a fuel vapor. The initial service tech was awful. Of course their tests didn't show any evidence of gas odor, and was recommended that they pull the fuel tanks at my expense. Their concern for my safety has been overwhelmingly void. Not one follow up call from the service department. I guess I need to go back to the original person when I started the process. More

Very bad experience more than once I would like to be able to go to a dealer that is not constantly trying to get me to pay to have them provide services which are not needed. Especiall I would like to be able to go to a dealer that is not constantly trying to get me to pay to have them provide services which are not needed. Especially when they use scare tactics to do so. Telling someone your lucky your wheels have not fallen off is not a good approach. I felt duped into purchasing new hubs for my truck when it drove just fine. Honesty is the best policy. It takes years to build trust and moments to destroy. I spoke with the service director at Sands Chevrolet Surprise and he did not help me or call me as he promised he would. Had my truck back three times now and brakes still squeal like a Mac truck coming to a stop. Another bad mark. I wish I could get a call from the GM at Sands or from. General Motors because this was not right. 480-252-1554. I screen my calls so please leave a message If I do not answer. More
