Let me preface this review by saying that this review ONLY applies to the Park Cities location of Clay Cooley VW; this is by no means a reflection on the Richardson location of Clay Cooley VW. The best part of my experience was getting the privilege of working with Michael Blackstock whom is a HUGE asset to your company. I had a 2020 Jetta SEL that had absolutely nothing wrong with it. I bought it brand new in 2021 and when I traded it in it did not even have 35K miles on it. I bought my 2025 Jetta SE on Friday, Ja. 10th from Salesman Alex Sinokrot. We took the car for a test drive, and I mentioned a couple different items to him, one of them was asking if it had a heated steering wheel, he answered that he did not know. My second question was about the 'premium audio' that was supposed to be a feature of the car as indicated on their website. I mentioned it did not sound "premium' to me as I had the BEATS system in my 2020 SEL, so I was very aware of what 'premium' audio sounded like. Alex said he would verify. After some finagling on price and lease details I agreed and drove off the lot around 8pm as they were trying to close, in my 2025 Jetta SE. Within 15hrs. of driving off the lot, I had sent a text message to my salesperson (4:45p on Sat. 01/11) asking what it would take to get my 2020 back, as I was not 100% pleased. I did not get a reply on Saturday, even though the sale department is open at least until 8pm. No reply on Sunday as the dealership is closed. No reply on Monday, so I had to send a reminder/follow-up text. I received a reply a couple hours later from Alex that said ""let me check with my manager and get back to you." By Wednesday I still had not gotten a reply and had to send a reminder/follow-up text in which I replied "So, what did your manager say?" I never heard from him again. I was going to try and put up with the car, but a couple of my friends reminded me that I should not HAVE to PUT UP with something that I am not happy with, so I made an in-person visit to the dealership on 01/21/25 to speak with the General Sales Manager Mohamed Abunijmeh. While I was waiting for Mo, the Sales Manager Hayms Badai came over and actually said "what is the problem?" in a slightly irritated tone. I explained my text exchanges with Alex and lack of replies, and when I mentioned the last text from Alex in which he said he would ask his manager (who was Hayms), Hayms said Alex never asked him. Which made me even more upset than I already was. Hayms then said "what do you want me to do?" in an almost irritated tone, and I said I want my car back. His reply was "Can't do that'. I asked why, and he said I had missed a deadline. I would not have MISSED that deadline if Alex had talked to his manager and gotten back to me in a timely manner. Once again, not my fault. Basically there WAS no other option. Finally, I got to speak with MO. Mo asked me what I was not happy with, I told him that the biggest thing was the lack of 'premium audio'. Mo said that he could take care of it and requested that I drop off my car the following Monday morning - it would be a fast exchange. A loaner would be waiting for me (which it was not), and I had to wait while Mo talked to several other employees before I went up to his door and said I was here to drop off my car. A 'fast exchange' turned into me being in the dealership for over 2hrs. I took off work to drop off my car and told my boss I was told it would be quick. Needless to say my boss was NOT happy when I returned over 2hrs later. Mo started having my car worked on and I ran into the same communication issues that I had with Alex - not returning text messages. For every message I sent Mo I would ALWAYS have to send a follow-up text asking my original question again. They had my car for 2 weeks. I bought my 2020 Jetta at the Richardson location, and it was a great experience; that is where I should have taken this transaction. I will never go back to Clay Cooley VW-Park Cities More

Ok experience until the first piece of paper for a sale goes in front of you. I asked them to explain an MSRP that was several thousand over the online cost; they explained some (delivery fee) but then sai goes in front of you. I asked them to explain an MSRP that was several thousand over the online cost; they explained some (delivery fee) but then said it's upgrades to the vehicle that weren't actually upgrades (clear coat paint protective that comes standard, floor mats that come standard, etc). Then when I asked for an itemization of another $4k line item called "Accessories", they said it came with the car. They used the previously-described "upgrades" which increased the MSRP was now used to justify the $4k accessories fee. Finally they agreed to a 4.9% APR to finance there, and when I got to finance they put papers in front of me to sign with 5.8% APR and a new warranty add-on package I had not agreed to. This whole time they told me I didn't hear what I heard and they kept changing their narrative and changing #s on every reprint. It was disgusting behavior. If they want ppl to purchase add-on packages, then sell the packages the honorable way: describe what packages offer and give the customer a choice. Don't force it on them and pretend it's a discount when the customer firmly declines these forced fake upgrades. This behavior was consistently modeled by the General Manager, Sales Manager, and Finance person. More
