Hello CMMORIN1970, My name is Sheri Banes and I am the Customer Service Manager here at Coos Bay Toyota. I see you had purchased your Santa Fe from Izzy with a trade in that had $6,000 of negative equity. Your account was later notated that you were not happy about a recall that came out on the Santa Fe and wanted to get out of it and into another vehicle in less than a year of owning it. Unfortunately, when financing you do not usually have equity built up until halfway through the term so there was some negative equity that rolled over to your new loan on the Rogue. The new loan on the Rogue being on 84 months would not brake even until the middle of 2021. It sounds to me like it is the numbers game that you are not happy with. Looking over the details it appears no one was trying to take advantage of the situation and got better than great deal on the Rogue to accomplish what you were asking of us, to get you out of the Santa Fe. If you would like to discuss this further please reach out to me, sheri@coosbaytoyota.com or 541-267-3121
