It had a small waiting area for both service and sales. It would be a much better experience if the place is renovated and expanded. Otherwise, it was not a big deal. Boy was wrong. I have never seen such a smooth, stress-free car buying experience. In the past, I have always felt like I was being glossed over just to make a sale but J.R. didn't put any pressure on me at all. I went for a test ride and when I got back we just talked about the car and then moved forward. There was no pressure or anything. He was very easy going. After we talked numbers and got everything squared away, I was dreading the financial part but Kristen made that really relaxing as well. She explained what everything was and helped me come up with the best warranty for me. After there was a wrench thrown in, both J.R. and Kristen helped to work it out so that my car purchasing experience was still a positive one. The last person I dealt with was Nicole. After sitting in finance for a while, it was nice to have someone who seemed very happy and willing to explain any aspect of the car to me. The beep that happens when you lock the car was driving me crazy and she turned it off in 2 seconds. All in all, this was an amazing experience and I will not go to any other dealership. More

Happy Accident I wasn’t in the market for a new car. It was the furthest thing from my mind when I was siting in traffic and a distracted driver went through my vehi I wasn’t in the market for a new car. It was the furthest thing from my mind when I was siting in traffic and a distracted driver went through my vehicle at almost 50mph. Luckily no one was seriously hurt but my little “roller skate” of a car was totaled. Suddenly my life was all about dealing with insurance and researching my next vehicle. The insurance was easy as the other driver was totally liable but I dreaded dealing with dealerships and the entire car buying process which I perceived as a nightmare; I couldn’t have been more wrong. It had been almost 6 years since I purchased a car and I like to drive them into the ground. I don’t like buying used as I don’t like to inherit other’s problems and while, leasing is a great option, I also imagine some invisible corporate ghost hanging over my shoulder. No, I crave freedom and fun and after my accident something equally cool and safe. I was in the market to buy new. My research took me many places as I searched for a vehicle that hit all the boxes for me; it needed to be an upgrade (my last car had a hamster for a mascot so I wasn’t really feeling “Mad Max” cool in it), it needed to be a great investment and able to carry my beloved dog and adventure gear at the same time. Enter the Subaru Crosstrek. It was love at first site. And I was instantly seduced by the orange one. Orange! It just spoke to me even to my wife’s shock. A very nice man let me test drive it and it was more fun to drive than the Dodge Challenger which had been my dream car but didn’t hit many of the boxes I needed in my life. The salesman was very pleasant but his dealership was very far from me. He made me a generous offer but made the mistake of saying “do not to waste your time bringing it to the World Subaru in Tinton Falls because they would laugh at it.” So that is exactly what I did. About a week or so ago I went to World Subaru in Tinton Falls with my offer in hand. They had an amazing inventory and I saw my orange beast there in the lot. As I was looking at it as Sales Consultant Glen J.R. Miller came out with a genuine handshake and I told him the story. He was the most chill and non pressure salesperson I ever dealt with. He didn’t “laugh at my offer” as the other dealership said he would. He did grin as he worked out numbers to do better. Not only is J.R. very down to earth he is very knowledgeable and did everything he could to make the process as smooth as possible. And it was as smooth as silk. No back and forth into the back room. Just easy as pie. He is the type of guy who totally blows up the stigma of a car salesman so many people dread. He is someone you wouldn’t just want to buy a car from but who you would go want to hang out with. Just an great dude. So yesterday was pick up day for my new 2018 Subaru Crosstrek. J.R. had texted me a photo of my new baby getting its first bath. When I arrived, my Dad in tow for the experience, J.R. was already on the phone with my insurance company taking care of business. After some paperwork and smalltalk he handed me my keys and handed me over to the charming Nicole Sciamarelli so she could introduce me to my new ride. They must have an awesome hiring process at World Subaru because no one I met there was a step below amazing including Nicole. She was as fun as she was knowledgeable about my new car and she patiently showed me all the new bells and whistles a car has when you are out of the market for six years. I was practically driving a Model T before this new ride. The orange is growing on my wife fast. In fact, she loves it. That is a good thing as my Dad may now buy the same car in the same color! Our family get-togethers are going to look like a sunrise! When he does buy one he will buy it from the capable hands of J.R. and Nicole at World Subaru. It is a place you want to return to as you feel you have friends there; smart and good people looking to go that extra step. I would highly refer Glen J.R.
