I don't buy cars all that often, and honestly, I tend to despise the experience. Everyone has an agenda. You need to get a good vehicle, that fits your needs, for a price you can afford. The dealership need despise the experience. Everyone has an agenda. You need to get a good vehicle, that fits your needs, for a price you can afford. The dealership needs to make money and stay financially viable. You need the best deal, and so do they. It winds up being this back and forth mess that no one feels like they truly win. This was different. And I am thankful to say that Juan was amazing. He didn't try to oversell us, but it truly felt like he cared about us and wanted what was best for our family. He took the time to explain things to us and point us in the right direction. When I say he came and showed us the price, and I told him my bottom dollar price one time, I mean it. That was the extent of the negotiations. And, when I went to financing, it was not pushy or sales-y. The entire experience was great and I would highly recommend this dealership if you are in the market. More

I called To see if they still had the truck for sale and they did when I arrived the truck was ready for a test drive. We are happy with the vehicle (one owner well owner-maintained vehicle) but not the Sales Manager Tank and the purchase and after sales support” experience. First off, misleading marketing with owner-maintained vehicle) but not the Sales Manager Tank and the purchase and after sales support” experience. First off, misleading marketing with a “teaser” price online and then give you a price quote adding on Detectit GPS Tracking, Forever Tint, and Dealer Services (6 month protection package) for an additional “required” $2200. You then waste 30 minutes trying to get rid of the add-ons and you are told that Mr. DeMontrond never waives the Dealer Services (even to employees), the tint gets eliminated and then the GPS tracking (pre-installed for their benefit – controlling vehicle loss from their lot) gets marked down to their “cost” which turns out to be $400 higher than if you bought the tag and 3 years service online…. Given my wife was in love with the car (and it is a low production car so no other decent options in Houston) we gave in to $1200 of “add-ons” (after negotiating, trying to eliminate), but, obviously, did not feel good about that. Then the 3rd party mechanic we had inspect the vehicle found a big issue and was some disbelief and initial resistance by Tank – at least, in the end, they did the repair. Also there was the “sorry only has one key issue, but I’ll call the previous owner and maybe they have it” which I won’t go into but didn’t think the ultimate recommended course of action was appropriate or ethical. Post sales communication was horrible – calls not returned, emails ignored, excuses… And now dealing with getting an agreed to windshield replacement job complete – ignored requests to recalibrate windshield camera related safety systems (manufacturer required when windshield is replaced and systems clearly not calibrated). Steer clear of DeMontrond Buick GMC. More
