Gerard took the time to make sure he understood my reasons for looking for a car, my driving style and my driving needs. I went to the dealer with a predetermined vehicle in mind, but after spending some time with Gerard a better option was identified. It's been about a week and the new car has been a fantastic fit. After making the decision, Gerard exceeded expectations in both the timeliness and matter in which the care was delivered to me. Dealing with Rosa to close out the paperwork and financing was a stress free event, and she did everything she could to make sure my needs were met and I left as a happy customer Smithtown Kia. I anticipate shopping for a second car for my wife in a few months and I will definitely be back. More

I had also numerous contact with dealerships and sales personnel before I had made an appointment with Smithtown Kia. Upon arriving, Gerard Rennie, the sales rep introduced himself and and I found him to be extremely knowledgeable and amiable. From start to finish he pointed out different things I was not aware of about the vehicle I was interested in and the different options available . Gerard also made himself available for any questions at any time and after purchasing the vehicle sat inside the vehicle with us for a lengthy time to explain the inner workings of all the advanced electronics and why the vehicle had all this equipment . I have dealt with many sales reps, but he was by far the most knowledgable and helpful and I would highly recommend any future customers to seek him out and specifically request him. He even makes himself available after the sale knowing the advanced features in today's vehicle can be quite overwhelming. Well done Gerard, thank you again. More

After being totally dissatisfied having visited Generation Kia in Bohemia NY I thought we should go to another dealership and went to Kia of Smithtown. My wife and were glad we did and received the most courteous and respectful service I ever experienced at any dealership ever visited regardless of the manufacturer. Salesman Gerard was peasant and knowledgeable about the product . He and Greg Carrion worked with us to achieve the best deal possible considering we were 35,000 miles over the allowed mileage. We felt confident and comfortable with the final deal and would recommend this dealership to anyone considering a Kia product. Gerard Ragan, business manager, worked with us on the final closing, was professional and well experienced. The closing went as expected, no last minute surprises or hassel. I'm sure these gentlemen will and are successful at their trade because of the relationships they establish with the customer, their professionalism and knowledge. Only dealer i have wver gone back to I have to say both of my visits to smithtown kia were amazing. From sales to finance to managnent all went above and beyond. As a person with less then stellar credit I never thought i could be approved for a new car. But Gerard in sales made it his mission to put my family in a safe reliable car for the first time ever honestly. We were shocked we were approved and havent stopped smiling since. If that was not reason enough for you to pay them a visit. 4 months after getting the new car we found out kid #2 is coming. So we needed a car big enough for 2 kids a dog and all the junk that comes along. Since Gerard was so helpfull last time not only with the car but also planning iur futur and helping us with finances we figured lets go talk to him and get some advice. All i can say is once again the entire staff amazed us. They were able to get us into a 2 year old van while still having the original new car loan and still less then stellar credit ( ill let Gerard and Rosa fight over whos gold star that is). We got some much needed advice reassurance the right can for us all with no pressure at all and a constant reminder that if were not comfortable or ok that we can wait its no rush. I can honestly say that Rosa Gerard Joe and everyone else there are like family. The entire environment is warm loving and pressure free. Ive never herd a dealer say thats not gonna be right for you (unless its and upsell) but these guys would not let me buy a smaller suv juat cuz i needed something for a family. And they worked very hard to get us in the van. I feel a true connection with them and am happiky a customer for life if they need anything from us i hope they know they can call anytime. It is the only dealership that wont laugh at you for a credit score less then 550 intead theyll say ok we want to help heres what you can do to improve your score and what we can do to help you. A god send for a growing family More
