Sales Manager needs to take customer relations classes If I could give them NO STARS I would. The worst customer service form a Sales Manager from any dealership I've ever been to. I am a retired Marine an If I could give them NO STARS I would. The worst customer service form a Sales Manager from any dealership I've ever been to. I am a retired Marine and this dealership in customer relations has to be the worst I've ever seen. It happened on Saturday, January 24th at 1330. My son was working with a gentleman by the name of Charles Pettiford on purchasing a truck, we went into the dealership and the first thing we told the dealership is that my son had no credit an and we wanted to know if he could purchase without a co-signer. Of coarse the answer was no problem. We kept asking for a price and of coarse they would not give one but they were very eager to let him test drive it and get his hopes real high. They even asked if he was going to put any money down and he said $1000 or 1500.00. My son is 21 and never had a credit card or any other credit. Well when it was all said and done, they ran his credit and my son had a medical bill from an ambulance ride for $500 and some change that he did not even now about. I know that these dealerships work with more than one bank, They DIDN'T EVEN TRY TO SEE WHAT THEY COULD DO with other banks. The sales manager, GARY PATTERSON, IS A JOKE. I wonder if the owner David "Sport" Durst knows what kind of service managers he has working for him and how much money he is loosing for having them there because if he did it to us, then he has done it before to someone else. I will tell everyone I know, especially the Military personnel to never go and see this dealership because you might run into this Service manager. He sat behind his desk instead of talking to us to let us know what was wrong and he had a real bad attitude like he didn't want to be at work that day. More

First purchase from Sport Durst of Durham We worked with sales lady Katrina Stanley, and all I can say about Katrina is awesome. Sport Durst just friendly advice keep her for the long run. She is awesome and trully a benefit to your organization. She friendly, approachable, knowledgable and respectful, Shes good at what she does. I am sure all of your sales people are awesome at what they do, but I will say this Katrina besides numbers that work for us she sold that car and I don't think we could have worked with a better sales person, and it was faith we ended up working with Katrina. When we first arrived at Sports Durst we actually walked the whole used lot before we were acknowleged by Katrina. Which she was in the process of working with another customer but asked us were we being helped. With that being said. There were two male sales man that were standing outside smoking the entire time we walked the lot. Neither of them approached us to ask did we need assistance, not until Katrina asked. And as I stated earlier she was already assisting another customer running back and forth from one dealership to the other. There were no bad experiences during the entire time we worked with Katrina, but once the salesman approached us after the fact when Katrina approached us. As customers we felt disrespected and felt we were being profiled because of a certain look which we are African American. Because we noticed not long after, a white couple came on the lot and was approached instantly by one of the same gentleman that offered us no assitance when they saw us walking on the lot. My feeling as a customer and because of the experience with Katrina Stanley, I would refer family and friends to Sports Durst, but as they say that first impression is a lasting one, and I would have to tell them about that particular experience. Overall I'm loving my car and the experience with Katrina Stanley and everyone else who worked with me and my husband indiviually to make this deal possible. Even some of those we didn't work with who saw us in passing was friendly with smiles on their faces. More

We were greeted promptly upon arrival each time. All employees were very friendly and professional. Our sales associate, Rodney Herndon, was very patient and helped us with considering many different m employees were very friendly and professional. Our sales associate, Rodney Herndon, was very patient and helped us with considering many different models. He allowed us private time to discuss our decision without pressure or influence. Our finance agent was extremely organized and efficient. Rodney and Gary were quick and efficient with negotiating a price, and they granted us a generous discount for a cash purchase. The entire shopping and sales experience was pleasant and relaxed, which is not always the case when buying a car. And Mesha was so easy to work with, she was completely prepared with all documentation. She explained each step thoroughly and expertly. We got a great price on a quality car, and we couldn't be happier. We would recommend Sport Durst enthusiastically to anyone interested in purchasing a car, new or used. Thanks to Rodney, Gary, and Mesha and all the technicians who prepped and cleaned our car -- our 2007 Honda Accord with 98,000 miles looks and drives like brand new !!! More

Went there on Sunday last week around 3:30 driving from Raleigh and a vehicle that was literally on its last legs. I knew I wouldn't be able to drive it home, as I was lucky to get there without it breakin Raleigh and a vehicle that was literally on its last legs. I knew I wouldn't be able to drive it home, as I was lucky to get there without it breaking down. I was greeted by Joe McKenna very friendly and very willing to help me any way he could. He worked very hard to find me a vehicle I could afford along with one that I could get in and out of with ease. After looking and test driving a few vehicles he found me a Kia Soul, which I really had no interest in until I test drove it and found out that I could get in and out of it easily and it was very comfortable. Joe inquired in what I thought about it after I test drove it and said that Gary Patterson was able to get it for me around the price that I could afford. And they would give me a loaner car so I could get home safely and work the next day. They stayed open after hours and took me over to see Mesha who stayed to get all the paper work done so I could come back the next day and pick it up. I returned the next day to return loaner and pick up my new vehicle and Mesha informed me that she found a lower interest rate which lower my payment and added gap insurance and she needed me to sign new paper work. Never in my car purchasing experience have I ever had a dealership look that hard to satisfy a customer and go over and beyond their job to get me the best deal possible. Thank You Joe , Gary and Mesha for your extraordinary service and professionalism. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone and will be telling everyone I know about the job they do there to help people. I would and will be when I am in need of another vehicle be going back there to purchase one. More

Gary, David, Trey, and Elizabeth were all very helpful and a pleasure to work with as we purchased our new Mazda CX-5 (which I am loving). Gary answered all of our questions about all of the different opt and a pleasure to work with as we purchased our new Mazda CX-5 (which I am loving). Gary answered all of our questions about all of the different options available and helped us to narrow down the choice that would be best for us. Gary and Trey were both very helpful regarding pricing. They helped us to get the best price they could and helped with information regarding financing options (we were unsure whether or not we wanted to lease). Of course, we would have liked to spend a little less, but I think that is just our nature. We felt like we did get a good price. David helped to seamlessly complete any paperwork needed in a very efficient and professional manner. If there was a lot of work that went into finalizing everything, we did not know it. All of our questions were answered and if one of them did not know the answer, they talked to someone who did know. Elizabeth answered any questions we had about our car's features. She helped us to set up our bluetooth and gave great instructions on how everything worked. They were all a pleasure to work with! Our experience was an overall great one, we would recommend them in the future and we thank them for all of their help! More

I was very pleased with my third Mazda purchase, second from Sport Durst in Durham NC. Gary Patterson, again, provided my wife and I a great buying experience. He was very helpful, and patient as we work from Sport Durst in Durham NC. Gary Patterson, again, provided my wife and I a great buying experience. He was very helpful, and patient as we worked to find the perfect car for our needs. We changed our minds a few times, and Gary found us cars to test drive to narrow the field to fit our needs. We selected a Mazda3 with a six speed manual transmission that I know I will have fun driving. He also helped us to purchase the car we wanted at the price we wanted to pay. The deal was wrapped up with the professional help of David Dowdy in finance and Elizabeth Parson in delivery. I know I will continue to recieve great service and advice from Service Advisor Ralph Evans who has provided outstanding service for our 2004 Tribute and 2012 CX9. More

Kristen did an excellent job in working alongside Toney and Gary to help get the right car at the best price. David did a great job at injecting humor into the financing process; making an otherwise painful process very quick, easy and fun. We had a great experience buying a car from Gary. He was patient and brought out the fleet for us to make sure we found the perfect car.
