Mislead - quoted the wrong price The first SUV we tested was filthy. My husband did question it and the answer was that you have over 800 vehicles and do not have time to clean all o The first SUV we tested was filthy. My husband did question it and the answer was that you have over 800 vehicles and do not have time to clean all of them that it would be detailed after it was purchased. The second one we drove was very nice – kinda a burnt orange and leather interior however when it came down to purchase we had several issues. First - we were quoted a price of 14493 for the Ford Escape we drove. We asked if there would be any further discount because the whole front of the SUV was chipped. Gary did say that your prices were listed as bottom line prices but he would bring it down and have someone look at it. He came back to say that the 14493 was already 600 under what it cost for your company to purchase it at 15093 so the 14493 was the price. He asked how if we want to do the paperwork to finance and we told him no – we were paying cash but to write up the deal – that we would take it. He showed up where to sit down to wait. He came back with the sheet of paper with the price more that we discussed. My husband asked why it was so high and he told us then (AFTER the paperwork was written up) that the vehicle we liked was actually 14993 not 14493. He said “we have 2 vehicles the same color” would you like me to bring the other one down for you to see? Our answer was no – we liked this one. His answer – well this one is 14993. My husband questioned the fact that he told us he had someone look at this vehicle (specifically) to see if you could drop the price because of the chips in the front and the answer was that it came in at 15093 and was already dropped 600 and that was below the purchase price. If that is in fact true then the difference from the 14993 and the 15093 is 100 dollars – not 600. He was not apologetic - he got very defensive and was rude More
