I came to Carter Subaru on the recommendation of a relative. My first impression was that the staff by and large were honest and efficient. I was to be very very disappointed. Garret Farr lied about t relative. My first impression was that the staff by and large were honest and efficient. I was to be very very disappointed. Garret Farr lied about the number of key sets included with the vehicle, stating several times that it was a positive sign when a car came with two sets of keys -- he must have known that there was no second set of keys. He also implied that if I were not completely satisfied with the purchase, the dealership most likely would agree to cancel the deal and issue a refund within two or three days of the purchase. I purchased a car on Saturday and brought it back on Monday morning; I offered to pay a substantial rental for the two day's use. Garret Farr told me it was impossible to cancel the deal because all the paperwork had been sent to Olympia, I learned later that no paperwork had left the dealership and that paperwork was normally held a week or more before being sent along to Olympia, Farr again lied. I told Biniamin Tsegay that no second set of keys was a "deal breaker" as far as I was concerned. He said a second set of keys would be made. I sold the car the next day (at a considerable loss) and requested that I be refunded the cost of the second set of keys. I'm still waiting. Needless to say, I was very disappointed in my experience with this dealership. I cannot recommend them. Sasha Mednikov was the only bright spot. He was polite and helpful. More

We bought a 2017 Impreza from Carter in 2018 and enjoyed the car but my husband was having trouble getting in and out of the low Impreza which is why we decided to move up to the Crosstrek. Garrett was pro the car but my husband was having trouble getting in and out of the low Impreza which is why we decided to move up to the Crosstrek. Garrett was professional, knowledgeable and so personable and the best thing was that he didn't contact me again for at least a week just to let me know that the vehicle I had looked at was still available. I really appreciated the low-impact contact after some other less enjoyable experiences with car salespeople. He walked us through the whole sale and once I purchased the car, he patiently explained all the things I needed to know to drive off. I can't say enough good things about Garrett and by extension, Carter Subaru and the service staff I've worked with over the years. Thank you! Don Walter & Lynn Terpstra, Seattle, WA More

The dealership was not pushy but really wanted to know what kind of car would meet your needs. I doubt I'll buy anything but a Subaru from here on out. Our Forester is dependable and a joy to drive! what kind of car would meet your needs. I doubt I'll buy anything but a Subaru from here on out. Our Forester is dependable and a joy to drive! More

Mr Tsegay was professional, helpful, and courteous. Mr. Farr patiently and thoroughly introduced us to the controls and screens in our new Crosstrek. Both gentlemen were a pleasure to work with. We bought a 2025 Forester Touring. Everything in the sales process was good. They were not pushy in any way. The 0% interest was a positive deciding factor. I was 100% disappointed tha Everything in the sales process was good. They were not pushy in any way. The 0% interest was a positive deciding factor. I was 100% disappointed that even. Though there are buttons and lights for every other thing to keep us safe, there is no mirror button or replacement mirror with a button TO OPEN OUR GARAGE DOOR. Other than that we do feel safer on the road. More

I was so morbidly apprehensive to walk into a car dealership, but I was pleasantly surprised! We weren't sure we were even going to buy a car from Carter Subaru Shoreline that particular day, though dealership, but I was pleasantly surprised! We weren't sure we were even going to buy a car from Carter Subaru Shoreline that particular day, though we knew we needed one soon - but the experience was so relaxed and low-pressure, that we ended up buying one on the spot. It all went seamlessly. And we LOVE our new Forester! We're even planning to drop in in the next couple of months for a second car to add to our new Subaru family! :) More
