We would definitely do business with Findlay Honda - Henderson again. They worked with us with our trade-in and new vehicle purchase. I recently purchased a new Honda Pilot Trailsport with a trade in vehicle and ended up spending much more than I expected. I did not try to negotiate because I needed a vehicle that could tow 5,000 lbs, sea trade in vehicle and ended up spending much more than I expected. I did not try to negotiate because I needed a vehicle that could tow 5,000 lbs, seat 7, could go off road, had a tow hitch and harness. Just 5 things. The buying experience was easy, and I felt like everybody was getting what they wanted so I took the price they gave me. Before I signed everything, I asked the salesman to check and make sure that there was a 7 pin connector harness connected because I couldn't see it. He told me that it was there... I just needed to use a screwdriver to take off the cover on the rear bumper. He didn't have one so we proceeded with the sale. I get it home and wanted to test out the towing to see if everything was working on my trailer. Lo and Behold!!! NO TRAILER HARNESS! It came equipped with a trailer hitch and a transmission cooler but NO HARNESS!? I called the dealer the next day to tell them and hopefully they could resolve this issue... after all... They told me it was there when I bought it. Now that they had my sale... they acted like it was my fault for not having a screwdriver on me when I bought it! After dropping over $50,000 on this vehicle, they proceeded to charge me $230 for a harness that they told me was there when I bought it. I wasn't trying to scam them, but I surely felt scammed myself... Update: They reached out to me and said there was a miscommunication. They reimbursed me for the trailer pin install and apologized. I changed to 4 star because they went the extra mile. I appreciate their customer service. More
