Complaint Regarding Unsatisfactory Service and Alleged Fraud at Ourisman Dealership I visited the Ourisman dealership to repair my Jeep, specifically to address dashboard issues. They charged $240 for diagnostics, which is a recurring charge despite different problems. My car has been experiencing issues due to battery problems, requiring frequent jump starts. The dealership informed me that my car has two batteries and diagnosed that one battery costs $575 while they could not find information on the other battery. I informed the manager, who instructed Eric to proceed to the cashier where the price of the second battery was indicated as $375. I agreed that they could diagnose my car before continuing with any service to identify which battery needed changing. Despite instructing them to focus on the oil change and seat belt recall, they charged me $240 for diagnostics. They initially claimed my car had two batteries and diagnosed one as faulty. However, upon inspection, I found only one battery, leading to confusion. The manager said the charge was for checking components, but my dashboard issue was not addressed or noted in the paperwork. I would like to know why the dashboard issue was not included in the diagnostic, considering there is an electrical problem with it. I was told I would need to pay another $240 for that diagnostic, which is unacceptable. The reason I drove away was that the manager told me the $240 was used to check other things in my car, but my dashboard issue was still not listed. I was refunded $209 today, but the money has yet to arrive in my account. The diagnostic fee was $240, but I have not received the refund. Why hasn't my warranty been applied, and why am I being charged extra? Although I bought the new car from your dealership, it has not been treated as such. I have spent over $1000 on maintenance without the warranty. More

I recently viste the service Department, and my experience was excellent. The team was professional and efficient from start to finish. Following up my other 2 reviews of the extremely unprofessional service department, after the last service appointment in April where one of the service techs took a break in my mother’s car and lef unprofessional service department, after the last service appointment in April where one of the service techs took a break in my mother’s car and left it on and unlocked so the battery went dead, we have additional developments. My mother took her car to Valvoline for and oil change last Wednesday and discovered the following: the Ourisman service dept never put the cover plates back on under the car, and didn’t reinstall her oil filter correctly resulting in the car slowly dripping oil for the last 7 months. In these past 7 months, she has gotten many car washes including undercarriage washes, which makes me wonder what kind of damage has been done to the car since the cover plates have been missing? Also, how did the Ourisman service dept not notice that the suddenly had additional cover plates from a Jeep Grand Cherokee laying around? Since her conversation with Jim in service last Thursday, where she emailed him the video at Valvoline showing the missing plates and oil dripping, she hasn’t received a response from anyone at the dealership to address their blatant negligence. It’s interesting that their motto is “Ourisman Cares” as they have yet to demonstrate that they care at all. More

Worst customer service in the service department I've ever experienced. We bought a brand new car last year, spent over $100,000, bought the Ourisman service package, everything. Car starts having an iss ever experienced. We bought a brand new car last year, spent over $100,000, bought the Ourisman service package, everything. Car starts having an issue with the tire pressure, we called and made a service appointment, and brought the car in. Only to be told there isn’t anything wrong with the car. We picked the car up, noticed the same issue with the tire pressure is happening, and now the Service 4WD light is on, called the service department again and made an appointment. We dropped the car off that night, left the keys in the drop box and called in the morning to confirm they received it. We were told Dan would call us back within a few hours, and never received a call. I called 4 times, and was transferred to different people over and over and was told, "I have to check with Dan, I don't know, I'll have him call you back." I eventually started calling the sales department, and after 3 phone calls to sales, received a call back from Dan. I was then told that they didn't find anything, but cleared the light so I wouldn't have any issues. We were furious, and immediately got in the car and drove the 20 minutes to the dealership. After going into the service department and demanding that they correctly fix what was wrong in the car, and not just clear a light to make us go away, we were told it would take an additional 2 days to fix it as they had to order parts, and it would be covered under warranty. Two days later, I received a call that the car was ready, so we drove over to pick it up. We went to the cashier to get the keys, and were handed a bill of $900. We told the cashier that it was supposed to be under warranty, and she said she'd have to talk to Dan. She disappeared, and we were ignored for almost 30 minutes, until she finally came back and handed us a $0 bill. After we received our keys, we asked to speak to Dan to verify that the work was completed and ask him to explain to us what was wrong with the car. He proceeded to give a roundabout answer, that didn't really tell us or explain anything, so annoyed, we just decided to leave. Note: this experience happened a few months ago, I originally wasn't going to post anything until we dropped the car off yesterday for the recall repairs and had another terrible experience. More

I just drove home in a brand new 2024 Jeep Wrangler Hybrid from Ourisman Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Baltimore! I received outstanding service during my purchase. Kathy McKinney, my salesperson, and Uma Hybrid from Ourisman Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Baltimore! I received outstanding service during my purchase. Kathy McKinney, my salesperson, and Umar Naeen, the manager, clearly made a positive impact. They were both amazing to work with throughout the whole transaction. Even the financing with Maria was a breeze, once Ashlyn helped me figure out how to unfreeze my credit report. She was a lifesaver! The Director of Service, Michael Resnick was kind and helpful through the whole process. The General Manager Ermias, sure makes buying cars a positive experience for customers at this dealership. The Jeep Wrangler is an iconic vehicle, and I just fulfilled a lifelong dream by getting one. Whether I will be hitting the trails or cruising around town, the Wrangler’s rugged charm and off-road capabilities are sure to bring me joy.
