I've never had a salesperson be so ignorant about the vehicle they're selling. After a test drive, I asked if there was a trailer hitch as there was a "tow mode" switch. She looked at the rear of the veh vehicle they're selling. After a test drive, I asked if there was a trailer hitch as there was a "tow mode" switch. She looked at the rear of the vehicle and told me, "There's no ball but there's a hitch". When she was transferring my plates, I looked under the rear bumper, and noticed there wasn't a tow hitch receiver. She didn't know what I meant, and I had to explain to her what a "receiver" was. She had to ask the manager about it, and he had to add it to the order. Strike one! I had told her I wanted a tonneau cover and bed liner installed, and she agreed to include it in the sale. Later my wife specifically asked if the bed liner was included with the tonneau cover as it wasn't listed separately on the sales order. She said, "Yes, it's included". When we were signing the papers, I noticed again that the bed liner wasn't listed. When I asked, she said she thought it was part of the tonneau cover. Again, we had to get the manager involved. Strike two! Came back two days later for an 11:00AM appointment for explanation of some of the features and help with the connection options. She went over things I'd already read in the owner's manual, but she couldn't answer my specific questions. She told me she needed to get to her "12:15 meeting". I said, "Fine, if you can't answer my questions let's get the insurance/registration information to your manager so you can get to your next meeting as you obviously don't have time for me. I guess I'm done with you". She blew up and started yelling at me and called me disrespectful to her and she wasn't going to take it and continued shouting at me as she walked away from me across the lot. NEVER have I been treated so rudely! Strike three! I once again had to go to the manager, Leo Campechano who was very helpful in getting the answers I needed. Overall, the people at Gordie Boucher Nissan were VERY friendly and helpful and I was comfortable with the process. Except in my opinion, Erika Pinzer should NOT be working in car sales/customer service! More
